This village centre accommodates local artists and provides some very picturesque examples of half-timbered houses, with lots of external decorations designed to enhance the experience of a journey back in time.

***SPOILER ALERT*** Brace yourself for walking into the courtyard because you’re hit by the most quaintly Medieval (okay, Norman) sight EVER. The buildings practically drip history. Add to that the arty and antiques shops and you have a stunning experience.

Very very Norman in character with a number of lovely little craft (artisan) shops. and the location of the Office de Tourisme. Very friendly and photogenic with easy parking at the nearby church.

Originally a large coaching inn, now converted to a mix of shops & gardens around the courtyard. A bit touristy but nice.

Car park opposite but it gets very busy at peak times, mornings and anytime after 4.00pm try parking and walking around before busy times. The Village D'art Guillaume-Le-Conquerant is also opposite the post office. We found it very easily as we drove in from Houlgate....More
