We had an awesome experience with Hubert! We literally booked the trip 30 minutes in advance... and that on a sunday! I didn’t tell him, but I’m a historian and quite a WW II nerd and he told me a few things I didn’t know. You can tell he’s very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does - the tours and his other projects. When he learned I’m a big band of brothers fan (naturally) he turned the theme music on on his radio... I still get the chills thinking about it.
Driving threw the Normandy country side in a WW II, with a knowledgeable (and very nice) guide is something I would definitely recommend!
If you want a great experience, don’t hesitate - just book!

We had a great time on our 2-hour historical tour around Utah Beach with Hubert. It was perfect. Hubert told us so many interesting stories about D-Day and everything around it and the places important things happend. All these information paired with the unique experience of riding in a historic jeep made the tour so extraordinary! In addition the value for price is amazing comparing this experience with other tours in the area (some of the almost for the same price but in a tour bus!). We can only recommend the company (booking was easy and friendly) and the tour itself!!!

My wife, daughter and I booked a trip with Normandy Jeep Tours for the 8th of June 2022. We were met by our tour guide Thomas, who was very pleasant and had much more English than our very sparse French.
Thomas took us on a two hour excursion around Sainte Mere-Eglise bringing us off the beaten track and regaling us with stories of the night of 6th June 1944 when troopers of the 101st Airborne began to fall from the sky around the town.
We found the trip very informative, giving a depth of detail and local knowledge not readily available through books and movies.
Getting to ride around in a vintage WW2 Willy's Jeep was the icing on the cake.
Definitely recommend Normandy Jeep Tours to all visitors to Sainte Mere-Eglise.
Thomas was even polite enough to offer to take photos of us, which I'd completely forgotten to do.

This is a must do if you are in Normandy. Hubert is a former Dutch paratrooper who has relationships with many of the key figures from D-Day and is the head guide. JB is another fantastic guide and a high level jockey.

You are picked up at the train station and then driven around to all of the main D-Day sites, including some that off the beaten path. We went as a family of four, including a 10yo who is a passionate about WW II history. He declared it the "best day of his life."

The whole tour took about 5 hrs, and we all learned so much. Hubert and JB are wonderful guides who are patient and take the time to explain and set the stage for all of the events. If you like Band of Brothers, you will get to visit all the main sites.

Learning about what these men and women did to secure peace and freedom for subsequent generations is something you will never forget. It is powerful, educational, and emotional. 10/10 would recommend.

Thanks Hubert and JB!

Superb, informative and exciting jeep experience with jump master Hubert. He’s a great character and is really passionate sharing his knowledge of the local area and the heroics of those brave men who fought for our freedoms. Riding around the lanes in a jeep really is the best way to see the bocage and feel like you are following in those paratroopers footsteps. Booking and communication via email was easy and quick with Dominique and meeting up with Hubert in the centre of St Mere Eglise was easy..

We had the great opportunity to take a 4 hour tour of the Utah Beach area with Normandy Jeep Tours. It was an amazing way to experience the Normandy countryside and learn about the battlefields surrounding June 6 , 1944. Great tour and a great guide. Highly recommend this whether you are a WW2 history buff or just wanting to learn about the area and experience it from a 1944 Jeep!

Last week we did the 2 hour tour with Hubert and Thomas - we are STILL talking about how absolutely incredible that experience was. They have inspired my sons ages 10 and 13 so much they will see them again someday! I only wish we had spent the whole day with them - an incredible memory and their commentary along the ride brought the paratrooper experience to life for us all!

My fiancé & I took the 2 hour jeep tour from Sainte-Mère-Eglise. Tomas was our guide. He was outstanding! His knowledge was not just what anyone could read in a history book, rather, it was clear he's taken the time to learn about the stories of what the locals experienced during the occupation as well as on D-Day. Tomas showed us places that we've seen in famous photos... he really made the history come alive! And of course, riding around in a WW2 jeep through the backroads and bocage was a memorable experience.

Communication was fast and easy. We had a reservation made quickly.
We regretted not taking the 2-hour or 4-hour tour because then you get to see a lot more. Our guide (JB or Jean Baptiste) spoke English very well and had a lot of knowledge of the operation Overlord. We had just watched 'Band of Brothers' and this is the dropzone of the 101. So we got to see some spots that were in de series. All in all, this was the highlight of our 5 day stay in Normandy. The local Airborne museum is excellent, so make sure to spend a day in St Mere Eglise.
