This is one of the best ways to enjoy the city surrounded by water! Do it, if you have a lazy schedule and few hours to spare.

Our sailing skills were rusty and we needed certification to charter. We joined Windworks and first took Powerboating certification with instructor Brian Gross. We just finished our Basic Keelboat series and had requested Brian again. Brian is a fantastic teacher. He is patient, matches instruction to individual needs and adds humor and unique sailing life hacks to simplify the mechanics. We’ve taken out one of the fleet Catalina Capris 22 twice since getting certified - one day w light rain, and another with winds at 10 plus mph. We felt confident leaving and returning to dock and sailing on the sound. Windworks dock support is also excellent. Everyone has been helpful and thanks to Victor - we now have the outboard motor start down. We are looking forward to a few more sails on the 22s and then heading into Basic Cruising - with Brian Gross again as our instructor.

I have been with the club for a few years and gone through many trainings with them. The instructors are super nice and boats are to my satisfaction. I like bigger boats and those 40' + boats are great including the catamaran "one world". It's almost hassle free and the fees are reasonable if you don't want to own a boat, never regret it.

My friend and I took basic keel boat lessons . Our instructors Mike and Margaret were extremely patient and very helpful! I have decided to continue with the next class basic cruising, so I joined the club. As a member, you get great discounts on classes and boat rental. My first trip without an instructor was free as a member. Great place! Great people!

I have taken the BK courses at Windworks. The instructors are great and very patient. I look forward to more adventures with the club and future courses. Very nice boats to practice sailing around the Sound.
