Summer Hangout
Jul 2020
Spent a lot of time here one summer when I was staying on my boat. I pull up to the docks and order some chicken wings at Hooters and then walk over to this part to enjoy them. Not a whole lot going on there but ducks and geese so watch where you sit. Reviews of the lake or nice and it feels good to be out of the are right on the edge of the water. not a must-do by any means but if you're in the area why not

Green Space
May 2019 • Family
Close to the center of Downtown Seattle. Provides access to green space and water. It is just a quick 20 minute walk or you can take the streetcar ride from downtown. Wonderful place to stroll, get on a boat, or take a moment to just catch your breath.

This waterfront park is not too far from The Needle. It has paths running though at and some grassy areas. There are toilet facilities here.

Nice place to take a stroll.
Sep 2019
We stayed at a nearby hotel and this park was a convenient and picturesque place to take a stroll. A lot of water and boat (and seaplane) related sights and activities nearby.

A delightful afternoon stroll in the sunshine
Aug 2019 • Family
We were staying nearby & feeling the jet lag, so took a little stroll, not knowing that we would stumble on this little gem! We only walked around the boatyard and my daughter played in the fountains, but it was a lovely, calm space to chill.

Amazing spot for seaplane watching and relaxing stroll
May 2019 • Solo
A sizable park by the water in Seattle where you can enjoy the great views around Lake Union, and simply have a relaxing stroll/ seat while seeing the landing and exiting of the seaplanes of Kenmore Air. I found the scene quite fascinating given not many cities have seaplanes. It is also a popular spot for yacht parking so you may spot some fancy ones for a picture or two too.

All in all, a very nice place to be esp. when the weather is amazing out!

This park had good views of planes taking off on the lake as well as boats along the edge. The park also had some nice fountains.

Relaxing park
Mar 2019 • Solo
Lake Union Park is a small park located on Lake Union. It's close to Mohai and the Center for Wooden boats. One thing could do is bring a picnic and watch the boat and float planes. Fun!

Nice park
Nov 2018 • Family
The park was just opposite the hotel where I had stayed. Went for a stroll in the morning.
The Center for Wooden Boats is just nearby. There are a number of large historic boats on the dock. Museum of History and Industry is also there. People visit this park to spend some time on the lake. Parking is cheap. People sit on the edge of the lake and watch the sea planes come and go. A nice park to spend half day.

Beautiful park

Wonderful park in South Lake Union. Cheap parking, very clean and low crime area. Suggest a trip to nearby Flatstick Pub -stay far far away from Art Marble 21/ - and enjoy a great day with lake views
