Elizabeth was our tour guide and she definitely made the tour. I loved that she was always cracking jokes and making funny toasts at each stop. I liked this tour because there was a great variety of places and I learned a lot about the city. I would recommend this tour!

Elizabeth deserves a toast in and of herself! We certainly love how much our Booze n' Bites tour shows the diversity of food and Seattle culture. And Elizabeth knows how to make this place shine. Thank you for the review, and we hope to see you on another tour next time you're in Seattle.

We booked a mystery vacation through PackUp&Go on Feb. 14-17 2020 and they sent us to Seattle and included tickets for the Savor Seattle Pike Place Market Food Tour. Our guide was super fun and knowledgeable and was able to successfully get food samples to all our group members at each of the 7 stops. She was keen to pose for pictures, able to answer lots of questions and had good rapport with the shop keepers. This is a really fun tour!

We're so glad PackUp&Go sent you to us! Miriam had a wonderful time getting to show you the mysteries of the Market. She really loves getting to show everyone parts of the Market that don't always get stopped at! Thank you for joining us on our Food and Cultural tour - hopefully next time you're in Seattle, you'll choose us intentionally for another tour :)

I can't rave enough about this tour. Our guys Luke and Audrey did everything from safely lead us kayaking to preparing delicious meals to acting as nature and storytelling guides and even giving us a theatrical performance. We kayaked to an island off of San Juan Island, camped for two nights, paddled and hiked the second day and kayaked day. Every meal was locally sourced and deliciously prepared. I still don't know how they did it. Seriously, folks, incredible value. And they were not kidding when they said that kayak experience was not required. We had everything from newbies to old water hands, and everyone did great. While this is not glamping, they tents were comfortable. And did I mention to the cornucopia of food and wine? I would happily do another tour with this group.

This trip is fantastic from 'soup to nuts'. We never had soup, but from the first greeting by our guides to saying goodbye to our new friends, everything was perfect. Great food, LOTS of wine, amazing guides that added youth and humor to the trip, kayaking, hiking, DANCING and a little sleep. We even had the opportunity to have Angela (trip originator) join us which was very special.

I would recommend this trip to anyone. You don't have to be a jock. You just have to love the outdoors, people and camping. Thanks to all the staff for making this a memorable trip!!

I did this tour with my 15 year old son. We originally signed up for the VIP tour but got moved to the classic tour since there wasn't enough people. I was sorta bummed at first, but it turned out great. We had a lot of fun and tasted great food. Some people were disappointed since Pikes Place is a small tour. We've done other "larger" ones like in Chicago that were completely different. It only covers a couple blocks and most of the history is fairly recent, 30ish years (Chicago's dated back to the 1920's), but that's what makes it fun and interesting, not every city can be the same. The food was great. The Chocolate covered cherries were really good and the mac and cheese was to die for but our favorite was the beef thing from Piroshky Piroshky, It was amazing. Over all it was well worth the money! Go your first day in town so you have time to revisit the market.

Hi Bobbythenose, Thank you so much for joining us on our Signature Food & Cultural Tour of Pike Place Market, we really appreciate your flexibility to change tours when the Early Access VIP Tour was below our minimum running head count! We're so glad you had a great time on our Signature Tour. Taking this tour early in your trip is a very smart move, Pike Place Market is extensive and filled with many unique and amazing vendors that are easily overlooked in the buzz of the crowd. Our Signature Food & Cultural Tour of Pike Place Market arms you with a nice introduction to the Market and our amazing tour guides are always looking to share their favorite places with guests. Not to mention, that gives you more time to utilize our nifty VIP discount card! We're thrilled to hear you loved the food; I have to agree with you that the Beef & Cheese Piroshky from Piroshky Piroshky is absolutely divine! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we look forward to hosting you on another tour soon!

This was a great tour! While walking around Seattle a few days prior to the tour, I wondered whether it would be worth it as you can technically see Pike Place on your own but it ended up being absolutely worth it, we got to try so many different foods you would have never known to get yourself (tacos, salmon burgers, biscuits and more) and learned some great Seattle history. I definitely would recommend.

We're so happy that we were able to give you a closer look at the Market through our Early Access Tour. We love getting to guide guests around the Market, and hope that we were able to show you areas that you will return to later! Thank you for the review, and we hope to see you on another tour next time you're in Seattle

I am pretty new to Seattle and had some out of town guests (from Boston, NYC and Denver) visiting in December. I was very excited to show off my new city, but one of my friends came across the best find of all - this AWESOME food tour of Pike Place!

You start out the day at a local coffee spot near the market. Over a coffee sampling and some delicious hot donuts from the market, we kicked off the beginning of our tour. We were also given whisper ear sets, so we could be a bit more discreet as we made our way through the market. Along the tour, you got to try samples from a bunch of different shops and stalls, and the whole time be impressed by the comaraderie that our guide had developed with the different people that we met in our tastings. We were especially lucky as we had the owner, Angela, as our tour guide. She was fabulous! My favorite stops were Etta's for their triple coconut cream pie, and this cheesecake place in the market. Honestly, I didn't love the cheesecake, but the hot chocolate is TO DIE FOR. Go get some now.

The tour ends at a wine co-op... perfect ending to this tour of yummy delights! I would suggest doing the tour towards the beginning of your stay, as you'll get coupons for revisiting the places you tried. I would recommend the tour to locals too, as I now know a lot more about the history of the market itself and came across some good finds like the amazing hot chocolate! We were not hungry for a while afterwards.

I know Angela is cooking up some new tours for the city, and I definitely plan on going on them in the future!

I went on the gourmet food tour yesterday and it was awesome compared to what I had experienced from a hole in the wall food tour in Oahu. You start at the Mayflower hotel with a yummy crispy duck patty and sangria. You are in the restaurant seated while enjoying your appetizer and drink! It was wonderful to go into actual restaurants, sit, eat, and have the chef talk to you about their passion for cooking. There were only a few places where we weren't able to sit when we ate. This was at serious pie where there were no more tables available and when we ate cheese cake. It was a food stand located in across from Pike place.

We tried 20 different foods and drinks. Some of the things we tried: Pike place beer (2 kinds), crab chowder, raspberry cheesecake, seafood risotto, red wine, pizza from serious pie, Italian salami and sausage at Pike Place, kumquat dry soda, and juicy mini burgers at the 4 seasons hotel. I think left out a few.... The portions were perfect for me. The tour ended at 5pm and I wasn't hungry until 8pm! This is was a big deal for me because I am always hungry. I was fully satisfied with the food tour in every aspect.

You also get a discount card valid for 10 days after your tour. If you are visiting Seattle do this tour early. You also get a list of places that accept the discount card. There are so many restaurants and foods to try in Seattle. Can't wait to discover more yummy foods!

The warm, sweet, buttery scent of piping hot donuts lures you as a sweet smiling face bounces down the stairs to greet you.

A very obviously intelligent woman with a sparkling personality and warm smile, Angela was an absolute delight from the moment she met us.
Intoxicating scents meet you at every step, from the orange spiced teas, to the cardamom laced hot chocolate.
A brief onslaught of fish is forgivable, just watch out for the flying swordfish!
The whole tour was like a special backstage pass with personal touches at every shop we visited. Rich in history and flavor, the tour was full of smiling faces and heartwarming history.
The market by itself is fascinating with all the confections, produce, flowers, sauces, wines, teas, vinegars, crafts and so much more. But Angela's tour made the market take on a magical ambiance.
Thank you, Angela, for a marvelous idea and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this to everyone. It's like your own market personal shopper!

I just finish the tour and asking my self "did I take the wrong tour?". I mean all the previous reviewers raved about this tour and I don't understand why. I took the Poker Place tour. Here are what I ate and drink in order: tiny piece if regular doughnut, tiny piece if strawberry shortcake, a sip of cinammon tea, tiny pieces of salmons, tiny piece of cheese, a sip of clam chowder, a tiny piece of sandwiches, a small ball of crab cake. My fiance and I were hungry and thirsty at the end.

On the Pike Place Market tour, guests try 20+ tastings at 10 different locations. Although “fullness” is unique from person to person, most people indicate that they are satisfied enough to not need lunch afterwards. The tastings are meant to be 4-6 bite portions at 10 different places. In a short 2-hour time frame, we hope to introduce you to a wide range of what the Market has to offer. I am sorry you felt you did not get your money’s worth. We hope you will give us another opportunity to experience the great food and history of Seattle the next time you are in town!
