This is principally a fish market but there are unrelated stalls. It is meant to be one of Seattle's great attractions but on the day I visited it was nothing special fish wise, though I did find the flowers better than I am accustomed to...More

Visited this storefront open space while walking around downtown Seattle and taking in the sights. It's a beautiful city to explore and if you get a chance take the Underground City Tour, it is amazing. It seems Seattle at one time was below sea level...More

Be sure to be able to duck when they throw the fish back and forth as they are sold to customers. Also a nice walk along the many small stores lining the waterway. Many different very interesting stores to visit and found some small purchases...More

There were so many different vendors throughout the market building selling their flowers, fruit and veggies. Really enjoyed the entire scene...More

We went twice, the second time they had a Red Sox sport announcer and she was involved in the ‘throwing and catching the salmon demonstration’. The guys are funny, great sense of theatre and if you do go remember “they also sell fish” 😂

We had a layover from our flight from DCA to Hawaii and it was going to be around 7 hours, so we decided to leave the airport, which you can do and anything under 10 hours you don't have to take your bag with you....More

Our first visit to Seattle and one of those must see tourist attraction. Very crowded area with lots of local vendors. The fish market was a truly unique experience. Watching them throw the fish was stunning.

Fish flying through the air, excellent cut flowers including giant sunflower bouquets, charming shops and eateries. Convenient location makes it good all day option since you can walk to the pier and other attractions.

If you want to watch one sling fish, this is where you go. They toss each time someone buys a fish but will occasionally do a "test toss" upon request. Some of their items come from Texas and they are quick to remind you not...More

Multiple stalls featuring all types of seafood/fish. Also many stalls that sell local produce, flowers and homemade food items. Tea shops are also available. Something for the whole family to see and it is free to wander.
