    Great Seafood
This is a great seafood vendor and attraction in Pike Place Market, located in Seattle. This vendor is where visitors can see the famous fish throwing. The staff are very helpful and provide amazing entertainment by throwing fish. They can ship their fresh seafood, anywhere in the United States overnight.

Must See at the Pike Place Market
Yes, everyone loves the market, but what is everyone's favorite thing there? Front and center when you walk in the Pike Place Market, you will find the fish market with nearly every type of seafood in front of you on ice. However, you will also find a big crowd who have come to see the fish toss. It is something of a Seattle tradition that you have to see while you are here. As a market, it has every seafood available to you and if you have never seen a fish market it is an experience to be taken in. You are probably visiting the Pike Place Market so enjoy the experience while you are here.

    Flying fish
This is what we came to see, the flying fish! The fish market is the most famous part of the Pike Place Market and was as good as advertised. So much fresh seafood on ice. But the crowds come to see the fish being thrown through the air and I’m glad we finally got to see it in person.

    Interesting experience
I went there to get Smoked Red King Salmon. I took it home, and saw that the fish guy gave me Smoked White King by mistake. I called there , and was offered a discount when I return to exchange salmons. I also found out that there is a discount for Veterans. I still have a card to get a 20% discount when I purchase something else there. The gentleman was very nice when I did the exchange.

    Fun Place to Stroll
The Market stretches over many blocks along the shore in downtown Seattle. It includes open stalls with flowers, fish/sea food, and goods, as well as stores and restaurants. Take time to watch the tossing of the fish … it’s fun, and take advantage of the samples mongers are offering. If you are hoping to hit one of the popular shops (like the cheese shop) plan on waiting patiently in line and take advantage of the break to people watch.

Great taste, samples, fish throwing. Amazing. The cut flowers are gorgeous and fragrant. Opened later than we were told. Don’t show up before 9 am. None of the eating places were open that early. E are on the water front and there was only one place open.

This place is so cool! We had so much fun here. Not only is it neat to watch them throw around the fish but their seafood is really good. We bought some clams, oysters, scallops and salmon here. The employee at the fish market was so helpful to us. He answered all our questions and helped us pick out our items. We then took everything back to our airbnb and had the best dinner! It was really a lot of fun.

The famous fish toss and fun to watch. I would recommend going early in the day before the crowds roll in. We loved watching both the staff and people who ordered fish get to throw their fish (salmon and octopus).

I was excited to visit the fish market, having read positive reviews beforehand. However, I was disappointed. It felt like a typical farmers market, but much more crowded and not very clean.

Despite the name, the selection of fish was limited to just three small sections. On a positive note, the fish itself was excellent - fresh and delicious. They also had some beautiful flowers.

We walked down hill to Pikes Market, to see the world-famous Pike Place Fish Market fish throwing stall. The Pike Place Fish Market, was founded in 1930, is an open-air fish market located at the corner of Pike Street and Pike Place.
It is known for their tradition of fishmongers, throwing fish that customers have purchased, before they are wrapped.
It’s always crowded here, attracting up to 10,000 daily visitors, all trying to take selfies with the airborne fish.
We were informed that they all so package seafood, cooked and uncooked for flight or overnight shipment.
Not being a fish eater, we just took photos and moved on.

TIP: watch out for the monkfish, which sometimes, thanks to a hidden line, is made to "snap" at customers. Ha Ha

My family and I went down to visit the Pike's Place Fish Market for a visit on the first day it was one of the hottest days in Seattle and unless the stores were underground there wasn't very many that were open, some across the street were open and servicing some customers but most of the open-air fish markets were closed which was kind of a disappointment. Later on that week we went another day which was much more milder and there is a lot more open but they weren't throwing the fish as I remember which was also disappointing anyhow great place to visit and walk through if you have time you can spend about 1 to 2 hours there looking inside different stores. There are quite a few restaurants in and around the area lots to do and see, we went and seen the gum wall that was kind of unique. Good for families to do lots to see down there give it a try if you're in town.

The fish market was one of the main reasons that we wanted to visit the market. We loved watching the people there throwing fish (salmon) back and forth. However, perhaps the best thing was tossing back the oyster shooters. Yum!
