This is in the Pike Place Market which was very crowded with people. I heard the activity of the famous fish tossing, but couldn't really see it for all the people. Try going at a less busy time for a better experience.

Nothing was happening during covid with the flying fish etc... I don't even eat fish and hate the smell, but instead of a 3 star rating, I'm giving it a 4 because I know when it is open and popping it's probably fun. Officially a 3 for me. and more of a passing by thing.

The Pike Place Fish Market, was founded in 1930, is an open-air fish market located at the corner of Pike Street and Pike Place. It is known for their tradition of fishmongers, throwing fish that customers have purchased, before they are wrapped. It’s always crowded here, attracting up to 10,000 daily visitors, all trying to take selfies with the airborne fish. We were informed that they all so package seafood, cooked and uncooked for flight or overnight shipment. Not being a fish eater, we just took photos and moved on. TIP: watch out for the monkfish, which sometimes, thanks to a hidden line, is made to "snap" at customers. Ha Ha
