We went to see the Laqwrence Welk improv show. It was so much fun! The place is next to the "gum wall" outside of Pike Place. Kind of a grundgy feel, but about what you'd expect for this kind of a theatre. The drinks were affordable - $4 and $5 - and you could bring them into the theatre with you. The theatre is small which is nice because it's improv and it feels like you're all involved in the show. The performers were great. Sometimes improv sucks but this was a great show and well structured so that it was likely to be a lot of fun. We got the tix for half price so it was only $7.50 each. The show was almost exactly an hour - so a little short, but for what we paid we were very happy. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The Market Theater is home to Unexpected Productions, a comedy troupe of local area comics. They serve sodas, snacks, and alcoholic drinks right before and during their performances at very good prices. I attend Seattle Theater Sports, and I must say, my throat was hurting at the end of the evening from all the laughter from the Improv performance. Great place :)

My husband and I walked by the theater in Pike Place Market and noticed there was an improv show that night. We came back and it was absolutely hilarious! The perfect thing to do for a Seattle evening. Definitely R rated, so I would not recommend it for young kids.

I have seen them twice. Once at a Christmas production and very recently in March 2013 for a production called Black Eyed Blonde. They take audience suggestions at the start of the show but never use them in the show. The show runs mote like a slow, badly plotted script without any spontaneity. A shame because I think they try hard but it was simply boring both times. Before the Blacked Eyed Blonde show a lady sang on stage and made up songs based on suggestions. That was fun. But it went downhill from there.

My walking tour guide tipped me off to this place -- I'm so glad he did. This was a wonderful find for an enjoyable evening of humor. I stopped by the 7:00pm show for a paultry $5 ticket price and then was able to stick around for FREE for the 8:30 show. After the second show, I jumped down the street for a 9pm "happy hour" dinner and then came back to Market Theatre for the final evening show -- included again with my original ticket purchase. All three shows were great, each with a unique format and new cast of actors. A great evening!

Theater's not usually my thing, so was a little worried, but never stopped laughing and was by far one of the best parts of my vacation.

Theatersport is wonderful. Two teams doing improv with judges rating them and awarding points, and the winning team returning the next time. Audience participation encouraged. Mostly very clean comedy, so safe to bring older children. Extremely entertaining.

Found this place next to the Gum Wall and saw they were doing Final Fantasy Comedy Improv. These are two of my favourite things, so we had to go. We got there for 7pm where there was a happy hour for $5 a ticket - and you could stay afterwards and see both the Final Fantasy show and another show at 10:30pm for free - absolute steal!! The happy hour show was done by improv students and was a mixed batch but you could tell they were trying hard. The FF show was simply fantastic. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
