The Moss Bay website says they have a kayak for anyone and it's true. I'm not a small person but had no issues getting the right equipment to spend some time out on the lake. No one asked how much I weighed or anything else embarrassing. They just went and got a kayak, asked about my previous experience and that... More

Truly, boats departing, sailboats setting sail, planes landing or taking off this is a busy little place. We kayaked along the edge enjoying looking at all the houseboats along the way. Some really gorgeous ones! Staff are very helpful and friendly helping you in and out of your kayak Bathrooms close by which is handy before you set out.

I was the first renter to arrive on Sat., May 28. I had the Groupon. Scott took excellent care of me. It was a bit windy and a slight chop in Lake Union. Nothing too difficult. When the wind picks up, I recommend staying close to the shoreline. Great boat watching. It was too windy for me to get too... More

I have rentef from Moss Bay for several years. Owner Kevin always offers a warm greeting and is ready to share his enthusiasm for being on the water. His support team members are knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend renting here!

Went kayaking on Lake Union with my kid. Easy enough to walk to the dock from the parking lot. Gave them my driver's license, and we got right in a boat. The waves were somewhat choppy, but the weather was sunny. Went along the house boats and saw several sea planes taking off and landing. Getting out was also easy.

Have rented from the folks for several years and they never disappoint. Each member of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.....plus they know what they are doing. All equipment is in good shape and they make it easy to explore Lake Union and the area. A great adventure every time.

This is a super place to go for rentals. They have lots available (of kayaks anyway, that's what I rented), and helpful but non-intrusive staff to get you out on the water. I am told the some of the Lake Union rental businesses have all kinds of rules about where you can take the kayaks, but I got none of... More

Rented a 2-person kayak for 1 hour on Lake Union. This was my first time kayaking, and it was lots of fun. I wish I had more time to spend on the lake. The rental process was very smooth.

This is a great company to rent a kayak from. The challenge we had was not being able to reserve a kayak (single or double). We ended up having to go in 2 doubles for 4 people total rather than our each getting individual kayaks. Life jackets and dry sacs provided.

Pretty good, we went on a weekday which meant we got 4 hours for the price of 2! Quite strenuous as we took a right under the bridge and went to Lake Washington. Didn't follow the initial directions properly to go left. Kayaks were good quality and there was places to get changed. You keep all valuables with you in... More
