We are a small group of experienced cold water divers/photographers who hadn't dived in Seattle before, so we reached out to SDT about hiring a dive guide to show us some of the local sites. We wound up doing 6 days of diving with them: a boat dive, a day at Sund Rock, and 4 days of beach diving at Seacrest and Redondo. And we got so much more than we'd even thought to ask for: - one or two dive guides for the 4 of us on each dive, who learned what everyone was interested in and expertly juggled everyone's needs - SDT took custody of our gear on day 1 and we didn't have to deal with at all until we picked it up at the end of the trip all rinsed and dried. Not having to schlep it back and forth to dive sites meant we could carpool, saved us a lot of hassle at our AirBnb, and just generally left us more energy for the actual diving, and we were impressed with their gear management skills and careful attention to how everyone liked their stuff set up! - Plenty of help getting in and out at beach dive sites for those of us that needed it - Towels, hot water, a propane heater and even a closed-in tent for said heater at some sites We all agreed that we would absolutely hire them again when we come back. We could save some money and dive the sites on our own now that we know our way around, but the amount of effort saved with entries/exits and gear wrangling was totally worth it for a vacation experience! Plus the staff were all excellent at spotting the local critters that we aren't as good at finding on our own. Bottom line: this is a great operator to use for divers of all skill levels who want to dive in/around Seattle with some really fantastic people. I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone!

A very well run dive shop with excellent personal service! I booked 10 dives over 2 weeks while in Seattle for a stay. The booking team was very helpful at setting me up with multiple different sites. They were also very proactive to make sure that I had the right gear and was fully informed about locations and procedures well in advance. On the diving days, the team was always there well in advance and ready to help you out. With multiple days of diving they had my weights ready to go and any shop equipment prepared in advance! Seattle diving is cold, so I recommend dry suit diving (they have a course if you need) and a warm change of clothing. If you are diving as Seacrest you get the added bonus of a heated tent!! All of the divemasters/instructors (Maddie, Kelly, Olivia) were very friendly and helpful. There briefings were very thorough with good details on both safety and wildlife. Underwater they were great at pointing out wildlife (the seal did his own introduction!). Special kudos to Billy who was the shore support person for all of the dives, it is nice to have an extra set of hands and eyes, and to know that all your gear is being watched while underwater. Scott runs a great shop!

What an incredible experience for so many reasons. First, they promote responsible diving and environmental conservation, a priority for me when choosing an operator. Second, full service! Everything is taken care of for you and they go the extra mile to make things easy and comfortable for you. This was my first cold water dive and I came solo. Kelly and the team were amazing! From teaching me about the ecosystem and all the wonderful things we might see, and saw, to helping me adapt to an unfamiliar environment and equipment, they made it such a safe and memorable experience. The pre and post dive briefings were thorough, as was the safety briefing and check. I will definitely dive with Seattle Dive Tours again in return visits to Seattle!

While visiting family in Kitsap County, I joined SDT for an afternoon two tank dive at Sund Rock Marine Preserve. Everything was outstanding. Communication with the shop was quick and efficient - I rarely waited more than a couple hours for a response from the team. We got good communication prior to the dive, and the day of was flawless. The trips are intentionally small - there were two groups at Sund Rock when I was there. Four divers plus a guide in the first group, and then my group had just one additional diver and our guide, Maddi, who was awesome. Felt like a private dive. Also: snacks and support topside for the surface intervals were great. Not that it's up to the dive operator, but the visibility and conditions were outstanding the day we went. Highly recommended.

I wanted to dive in the Puget Sound in Winter because it is when visibility is the best. I joined Seattle Dive Tours on a tour at the Redondo dive site. The staff was really nice and fun. They had somebody on the shore watching my stuff. The rental equipment fit me and worked well. I enjoyed both of the dives and would dive with Seattle Dive Tours again.
