We had the pleasure of taking a cooking class from Muriel Marguerite for our team-building business lunch this last Friday. To say that the food was delicious (and SIMPLE) would be an understatement. Our large team of 20 made a traditional French lunch consisting of Poulet en cocotte aux citrons confits (Chicken stew with a preserved lemon & yogurt sauce)... More

We had a great class with Muriel. She came to our house with all the makings for a three course French meal. We all trying to improve our French, so we requested that she speak French to us (and English if we didn't understand). The class would be fun in English as well!

I highly recommend Paris Eastside for your next team building activity or holiday staff event. Muriel-Marguerite Foucher is a fabulous chef, teacher and host! All of our staff thoroughly enjoyed learning how to make authentic French cuisine. Our event involved learning how to create many mouthwatering dishes including: crème de potiron aux champignons des bois, corsican ragu, and moelleux marrons... More

Absolutely fun way to learn the tricky art of making french style macaroons. Super fun!I had originally purchased this class for my husband so he could recover from his attempt to make macaroons for my birthday the year before (which was an utter fair) And then opted to take the class with him so we could do it together! We... More

My 12 year old son and I just took a macarons class. We had a little trouble getting set up for a class, but Muriel so graciously worked with us to make it work. Muriel was wonderful. She explained each step so clearly and was so patient. We learned so many tips and tricks. The macarons were beautiful and delicious.... More

My sister and I spent a rainy evening learning how to make macarons at Muriel's class. The class consisted of six students, which further divided into three teams. Each team made one flavor of macarons. Muriel was very patient with all of us. She explained each step really well. My team happened to make the savory macarons, which turned out... More

Fun class for kids a good option for rainy days in Seattle. It´s a hands on class so kids can be chefs for a day and eat the yummy result of their work.

Paris Eastside is great- tucked in on East Pike Street downtown. Muriel leads the cooking classes and she has great instruction and patience! I met a friendly eclectic group of people! Muriel herself is very engaging and funny. It was a great chance to try something new. Highly recommended!
