Having heard a little about Chihuly we bought tickets in advance with a discount to the Space Needle. It was an amazing exhibit. Don't miss the small theater that shows 5 different four minute videos of Chihuly creating. The indoor sculptures were dramatic in color and scale. The different influences from his life are well explained. The outdoor exhibits and... More

We visited on a joint ticket with the Space Needle and what a lovely introduction to Seattle. We had seen the Chihuly display in Las Vegas but were unprepared for the breathtaking beauty of these installations. Everything is superbly displayed, mirrors and lighting used to best effect and the glass is utterly beautiful. It would be very hard not to... More

Awesome exhibit of glass! Great for families with teenagers. I loved the boats filled with the balls of glass. The colors used are so vibrant. The outside garden mixed with glass the color of the flowers and grass was very beautiful and peaceful.

Fun trip to see beautiful art! Friends recommended going at night and I'm glad we did! Kind of pricey but definitely worth seeing!

I was prepared to not like this museum--a whole museum devoted to one artist taking up prime real estate in Seattle Center?--but I was impressed. Chihuly's work is more varied than I had known, and the museum showcases it brilliantly. The Persian-carpet ceiling installation is particularly beautiful--since I was there on a slow day, I actually risked lying on the... More

Our family was very excited to visit since we had seen his installation at the Denver Botanical Gardens. This is definitely worthwhile and we enjoyed ourselves, but liked the Denver Botanical Gardens more than Seattle. It's a bit overpriced for what it is (it only took us about an hour to go through). The complimentary photo was a nice touch... More

My wife and I had a wonderful time - the glass work throughout the museum was all so beautiful! Walking through the gardens outside was also really cool - Mr. Chihuly and his design team thought out every detail of how the plants and glass would complement each other, and the results are breathtaking. We will definitely visit again when... More

This was an interesting experience, the art is fantastic. The price point is a little high based on the smaller size exhibit(especially next to the science center), but well worth it if you hit up the city pass.

Absolutely fabulous. The grounds are filled with the glass sculptures. Simply beautiful. We spent several hours there after going to the space needle which is next door.

The works are breathtaking in size, execution and color. The admission price is steep for such a small collection.
