We didn't go in to the university, but we did walk through the campus on our way to somewhere else. They had a paved path for walkers and bikers. It was a fairly large campus with a mix of old and new buildings.

Beautiful campus with fountains, rose gardens, fantastic view of Mt. Rainier and Lake Washington. Some very interesting architecture for those who are interested in buildings.

This University is beautiful. They buildings are varied and the campus is played out real nice. Lots of fountains and come in the spring for the cherry blossoms.

On a lovely day, I wandered around the U campus. It was huge but the architecture was spectacular. It is a drive from downtown, but I thought it was worth visiting.

Premier academic institution in the Northwest US with great faculty and public university tuition rates, wonderful design (e.g., "Hogwarts Dining Hall" in the library), and amazing views from Rainier Vista.

Some older buildings and nice trees and plants. Nice place to walk around. Parking is limited, so I suggest taking the light rail.

This is an incredible urban campus. The main library was something straight out of Hogwarts. You can also find a breathtaking review of Mt. Rainier.

When we visited University of Washington (Sunday afternoon), we found the campus deserted, only with a few other tourists and all of the libraries closed. The campus itself is nice, but I would recommend checking opening times of libraries before coming if you want to see Suzallo Library.

Well, though I graduated from UW 40 years ago, and it has changed a lot, I was pleased to see that the campus is still as beautiful as I remember it. Even in winter, when the sky was darkened with snow clouds and The Mountain was not "out," the view from Drumheller fountain was nice, and the mini snow men... More

Even if you just pop by for a quick tour, this is a pretty neat place to see. Lots of old Seattle history.
