Beautiful campus

We went on several walks through the campus area, which is really beautiful. In the north east corner of the campus several shops and restaurants are located.

We walked from the light rail to campus. There were almost NO SIGNS to advise us in which direction to go for help. We finally found one sign. It's summer orientation time, and there were NO TABLES staffed with people to guide visitors. We eventually found the Visitor Center. It was a place to pay student bills and buy snacks. The... More

I've attended UW from my MBA so my review is biased as I am not a Washington or US native. The cherry blossom season is a must see on the UW campus and can get very crouded. You can park in C parking lot accessible from the 15th and go up straight to the commons area a few steps away... More

Even if you don't have much of a reason to visit the UW campus, it is worth the time to see the view of Mt. Rainier (if the weather is pleasant). Take a walk through Red Square towards the large fountain and you will see what I mean. Now that the light rail station is open, you can walk this... More

If you like architecture, you'll like the campus. Also worth it, of course, if you're touring campus with a prospective student. The campus and surrounding community really are excited to support the Huskies.

We strolled the campus on a summer afternoon. Just beautiful. You should make your way down to the boathouse for great views.

The buildings, the grounds and the stadium are awe inspiring. Beautiful buildings! It was work the walk to see the campus and surroundings. If you are able to go in the football stadium, it is worth it. The stadium fits 70,500 people.

This must be one of the most beautiful campuses in USA. Can slowly drive thru or better find scarce parking and just wander between classic buildings, huge trees or gardens. The main library building is amazing.

This should be almost common sense, but the University of Washington campus struck me as being an excellent place for a bit of quiet introspection, a pleasant walk, and probably a great picnic. The Gothic architecture is marvelous and very reminiscent of that 'classical college' look that people often imagine all institutions of higher learning look like (until faced with... More
