A big, lavish theatre home to whatever musicals are traveling as well as some originals and Broadway hopefuls. The place is a bit tired, and some seasons are better than most, but it is really the only game in town for Broadway shows, so they don't try especially hard to be a great theatre. Skews to older adults.

The 5th Avenue Theater is the home for many traveling Broadway shows. I would not likely want to see anything else there - the acoustics are not the best. This theater was built to show movies. Watch for opportunities to catch a film there, it is spectacular.

I have been a 5th Avenue Theater subscriber for 5 seasons. They do a great job of picking a variety of musicals each season. The theater is beautiful and well maintained.

I love going to shows on Broadway....and I'd never gotten to see The Little Mermaid while it was there, so when I was visiting over Christmas and saw it was showing, I bought myself a ticket on a whim. I bought the cheapest ticket possibly, which still came to about $70....seemed a little pricey when I can get $35 tickets... More

The play was great, even with our cheap seats way in the back, we could still see everything. The inside of the theatre is beautiful...look up at the ceiling when you go in. Having said that, the seats were very close together so I hope you don't mind getting cozy with your neighbor and be prepared to sit the entire... More

I've been a subscriber for more than 20 years and have enjoyed most of the performances. As with any theater, there are always a few productions when you consider leaving, or perhaps even do leave, at intermission, but those have been few and far between. The theater itself is quite spectacular, a true jewel that I didn't fully appreciate until... More

We went to see the Little Mermaid, this was our 1st visit. Staff was great. Lots of parking around the corner in a garage at a good price. We were early and got a surprise that they were having a pre show talk (behind the scenes). That was fun. Lots of picture taking opportunities. Usually places are so strict about... More
