The guide, Rocket Man Superstar (Sort of) leads a fun - and periodically funny - walking tour of one of Seattle's most interesting - & slightly funky - neighborhoods (Fremont), with a focus on its fascinating public art creations. He's equally funky, but very agreeable & knowledgeable about both Fremont in general & the art pieces he brings you to,... More

This amazing trip makes me realize what public arts can do to a community, and some interesting stories to know. It's so nice to be part of it, and I strongly recommend visitors to enjoy their trips in Fremont with this always-energetic tour guide.

We had a great time on this tour! Our guide was entertaining and informative. Our kids range from age 1 to 21 and they were engaged the whole time by the creative presentations. Everyone learned something, even our daughter who lives there. It was a refreshing treat to have fun and education come together at "the center of the universe"!

I was offered the opportunity to go on this tour through my workplace in Fremont. I am a Seattelite and spend a lot of time in the neighborhood, and still learned so much about Fremont and it's legacy of public Art. Mark and the Fremont Fairy have a passion for what they do and it shines through as they invite... More

My family of two adults and a 7 year-old child took this tour on a whim. We live in the area but don't know much about the history of Fremont and certainly didn't realize the impact the local art had made on this community. The guides are Fremont residents and their passion for community art and its power to transform... More

Today we, the family of four, spent a couple of hours on a wonderful, fun and informative Fremont Tour. Our quirky guide, Rocket Man SH, drew us into the amazing world of Fremont, its public art, some politics and playful citizenship. He somehow managed to even involve our 10-year old, who grudgingly went on the tour, and who declared in... More

Fremont is a very interesting area, and you will be amazed at what you see there. We had a "fairy godmother" who led the tour, complete with her kilt-clad husband taking photos. You get to see the Fremont Troll and so many other things, this is not to be missed (but I do not think children would enjoy it).

This tour is a true Seattle must. You can't fully appreciate Seattle without hearing the rich history and seeing the creative spirit alive in Fremont. The tour was entertaining and informative. My sons (12 and 8) were hesitant when I booked, but listed this as one of their favorite outings. Give yourself time for dinner in the area afterwards -... More

It was an awesome tour!! It's a very engaging tour, you're not just listening to the tour guide like on your typical tour. Street passersby join in for fun, frolic and good laughs. I think if it wasn't for this tour wouldn't have ventured to Fremont on my own, even though when driving thru I had told myself to explore... More

Purchased a livingsocial deal for this tour. Took some friends from out of state. Fremont has a reputation for being--just a little different--and so is the tour. The tour's website promises "a mix of public sculpture and improvisational street theater." Our experience was more of an "arts walk" with a sprinkling of public interaction/improvisation. I would not classify it as... More
