Immersus walking tour shows the Seattle beyond the touristy spots. Each guided route has been designed to immerse and sense the vibe of the selected local neighborhoods like Green Lake, Queen Anne and Fremont and to give a true idea of how Seattleites see the Emerald City. The tour guide shares history facts about the neighborhoods and the specific places that are visited along the routes like the old aqua theater on the glacier lake, the 1904 Elementary school which is now a shopping center or the gas factory in the middle of a park, the only gas plant standing in the country. To add a bit of flavor the routes have specific stops to break and sample some organic donut or beer. Spontaneity is welcome to our tours which entice the idea of deeply immersing in the local culture to learn and even interact with the local entrepreneurs. The neighborhoods selected are about six to seven miles from downtown. The groups are not more than ten people which will make the two and a half walking journey very interactive and flexible.

We had a beautiful day for touring Seattle neighborhoods, learning the local history and taking breaks at just the right time for snacks at the local hot spots. Tonio was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide, making the tour fly by. There are lots of hills so be sure to wear comfortable shoes! A great alternative to tourist attractions! Definitely recommended.

I spent the morning with Tonio sharing his Seattle with me. We caught the bus with the locals, walked around Green Lake with the locals, tried a great donut, ate a Dick's burger (apparently a Seattle institution), drank a local beer. Tonio explained how to catch the bus, where the best coffee shops, eateries and bars were. Thanks Tonio.

I'm a Seattle local, but some friends joined us from out of town for Tonio's neighborhood walking tour which included Greenlake, Wallingford, and Fremont. I already knew these urban areas pretty well, but exploring them with Tonio made for a richer experience because of the knowledge and history that he shared. I found it fun to see how each neighborhood... More

After a day in the Market and the melee of all the crowded tourist sites I was longing to get out into the neighborhoods and the real Seattle. Jose crafted a personal itinerary for me that started with a bus recommendation and took in several different neighborhoods, a bike and walking trail, organic chocolate factory, local brewery, wonderful lakeside park... Antonio was an excellent guide. He showed us the hidden gems in the city outskirts that we definitely would not have found and appreciated by ourselves. He listened to what we were most interested in and accommodated our needs (like our love of craft brewing!). Plus, he's incredibly friendly and welcoming. A bit of advice: this is a TRUE walking... Fantastic tour through some of Seattle's most under-rated neighborhoods. If you want to spend a day like a true Seattleite, this is the best way to do it! Tonio customized the tour to our interests and tastes, and timed the tour comfortably so we never had to walk too far without sampling fine chocolates, warming up with some chowder, or... More

I had a great time. We visited some hidden places that I had no idea existed, tated beer, learned about history, and enjoyed Tonito's geat company. I would defenitely recommend this tour to someone who's new in town and wants to learn about the culture in Seattle.

I took this tour about a year after moving to Seattle and loved it! It was the first Spanish tour and it was a wonderful experience! It was really nice to be able to walk around areas that most tours don't even pass by. It provided me with my first bus experience and provided lots of great information regarding Greenlake,... This tour is very unique. It was like taking the back door to get a good look at the real Seattle, and it turns out that Seattle is an amazing place. You start out at the Hard Rock Café in downtown Seattle, hop on a bus and head to Greenlake and other outlining neighborhoods. Being a resident of Seattle suburbs... More
