This park it well placed, right down the street from the Pike Place Public Market and facing Elliott Bay with nice scenic views out over the water. It is a very pretty park. Unfortunately the park is completely overrun with homeless folks. This doesn't mean that it is dangerous during the day, but it can be uncomfortable.

We were told that this park would be a nice place to bring our take out lunch from Pike Market by our tour guide. So after our tour we grabbed lunch from Beecher's Handmade Cheese and headed over there. HUGE mistake! While the views are spectacular we quickly lost our appetite with the STRONG stench of rotting urine and feces!... More

We came here to eat our takeout breakfast from Biscuit Bi*ch after my husband met me at the LRT. I had just flown in from Minneapolis and I was starving, both for food and fresh air. I was carrying a back pack, my food in a container, and a small cup of coffee. My husband had food and coffee. We... More

We stumbled on this park after getting a bite to eat after Pikes Place. It was very crowded at lunchtime but it was a beautiful place to sit and enjoy some sunshine and views of the sound. It gets a little noisy due to the highway being right next to it, but it was still a nice place to have... More

It should be great but alas the local park inhabitants leave much to be desired. Clearly many junkies here, they're loud and obnoxious. We bought some delicious piroshkies and decided to sit here to enjoy them. Sadly it was not a great experience and we left shortly after consuming our pastries. I wouldn't come back here.

Victor Steinbrueck Park could be a great place. It's in a great location right next to Pike Place Market. It has great unobstructed views of Elliot Bay, Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. It has a fair amount of trees for shade on sunny days, but a lot of open spaces for sun on cool days. It could be grand.... More

What a beautiful location on Seattle's waterfront. This amazing totem pole has been positioned right in the heart of downtown waterfront drug dealing and drug addicts. I was so surprised to see how many homeless and outright exchanges going on in a tourist area. No police presence what so ever. Clean it up Seattle!!! Do this totem justice!

No need to go near here the homeless own it. Got tired of the constant begging in this city and San Francisco .

We bought some cherries at the market and walked to this park to enjoy our purchase. It was pretty crowded since it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, but there was still a spot on the lawn under the tree. There was one surly drunk woman there when we arrived, but she moved on and otherwise people were fine.
