We took the Hop On Hop Off shuttle. This is a great way to get around in the city and learn about the city along the way. We were there early in the season and the schedules were confusing as to when they would pick up and where. This service was fairly new to the city so they will no doubt work out the bugs.

I usually do this type of tour in every big city I visit and it is usually amazing. This one not so much. The first bus we got in was great. The second one there was no voiceover. It started out with one but then stopped. When we asked the driver about it he gave a bogus excuse about the blue angels fly over messing up the connection. So we basically paid $50/pp for a bus ride.

We had an issue and the young man at the kiosk didn’t know how to handle it so he told us to send a email to,Info@citysightseeingseattle.com,and told us we would be contacted in 24 hours. It’s been over 48 hours and no response. I tried contacting the company through the website and I could not send the email. This trip is not worth the money. The buses stop running at 4:00 so you can’t spend much time in places if you want a ride back. If you sit on top beware of the branches. We had one fall and almost hit us in the head. The driver was not very friendly either. We have done these trips in the past but this one is terrible.

This was not great. The site says pickups are between 20-30 minutes. But once ON the bus, the driver said it was more like 45 mins or longer because of construction in the city. It was definitely longer. We got off at the Starbucks and stayed around 40 mins and headed back to the stop. Well, we waited there for an hour and 15 mins. Another family joined us after about 30 mins of our wait and said they also waited at the previous stop for over an hour.

We wanted to get off at another stop, but stayed on the bus because we didn't want to wait for the bus again.

The bus was old and the window screens used to keep out the sun needed replacing. We couldn't see out very well because they were very worn. We couldn't sit up top because my dad's knees don't allow him to do stairs very well. Also, the PA system wasn't working before we started the trip and we were delayed 20 mins to even begin the tour.

I wish I could get a refund. Spent over $140 for this tour. Not worth it.

At 1:00pm, purchased tickets for the same day HopOn/HopOff. Boarded at Pike Place Market at 2:25pm and went about three stops to Seattle Center. We were told to get off the bus and get on another one. Bus #2 was so hot most people declined to stay on (enclosed bus, no air con, did not feel safe due to heat). Bus# 3 arrived 30 minutes later and we were told it was the last bus of the day. (Also no air con and limited seating downstairs. We had to sit in the open air up top). If we wanted to get off at any stop, no other bus would pick us up. Our one day passes lasted one hour and five minutes. Wasted money; if we had Hopped Off there was no bus to "Hop back On". Ticket sales should have closed or a warning should have been posted about the limitations. We got on once and got off once; that was all.

One of the leas enjoyable tours we've did, maybe due to the build up of the city but we found it very poor. Speakers commentary is pre recorded and loud throug an speaker (in English only) spent a god bit of time on the top deck avoiding tree branches/leaves and the occasional road sign.. tour seems rushed. Almost .issued the Jimmy hendrix statue as the bus went past as commentary Said up ahead on right where in actual fact I
You have to turn around as the only way to see it is after you have passed it.
.
Wasted 80 mins of our trip we had discovered more ourselves wandering the day before and using Google maps.

We did the 48 hour Hop on/Hop off with The Observatory. The busses were comfy and we never had to wait longer than 15 minutes for one to come. It really is the best way to see a new city. The observatory was way better than the space needle, which we didn’t even bother going up.

Hop and hop off your was terrible. The area is limited to a small downtown area. Wait times for busses is very long. Some of the stops are poorly marked. We got to the bus stop before 4 but the last bus had already left or didn’t show up even though it was supposed to be at 4. Very overpriced for what it was. The commentary was ok.

It was a fantastic tour at the locks. Lee's was our driver and took us down to the locks to see how they worked. fantastic system to get the ships in and out. we didn't see any salmon at the salmon steps into the see but it was a great to see. at the Fremont area we saw al the houseboat. i guess this is the real Seattle.
Great tour and great guiding from Less. Can only recommend but remember the sun screen. Smile..

Decided it would be a great way to see Seattle. It was quite expensive for what we saw. The driver was too busy chatting up the passengers to put the commentary on.

I was disappointed to say the least. Been on better hop on hop off bus tours.
