We took the 20 min flight over Seattle and were very impressed with the companies approach. Very helpful and informative. Planes felt safe and comfortable. Good views of the main attractions and coastlines

Tour was short but showed us everything they said they would. Nice to have a lady pilot. Would haave liked to have had a little bit more information given during the trip, but still a very pleasant experience.

It was a very nice flightseeing tour, we could see Seattle from above: lake Union, lake Washington, the bridges, Washington University, Puget Sound, etc. It's a little bit short for what you would love, which is flying over and over, but it's a wonderful experience...More

I'm glad you enjoyed your flight! Please come see us again sometime, perhaps for a longer flight over the San Juans or Mt. Rainier! - Yvette :)

We booked the short scenic flight, but even that one showed us all the nice places of Seattle from above. It was a great experience and we will definitely do it again sometime. Thanks to Yvette for the smooth flight.

We recently did the scenic Seattle tour from Lake Union. Nice, rustic plane and a great friendly pilot. Commentary was a bit patchy but we were able to see all the sights. Well worth a try!

The plane is a low seaplane with a step up about 2-3 stairs (short) into the plane. She could sit in front as co-pilot. It's off a main road and a ramp to the area where the plane boards.

Mid October visit question (10 Replies)
I have a planned mid October trip to Seattle, flying in on a Tuesday and returning Saturday. On my tentative list of things to do (in no order) are Seattle Seaplanes sightseeing flight, Savor Seattle Food Tour, Seattle Ride the Duck tour, and just enjoying the Market and great food. I had no plans of renting a car. I started reading about Whidbey Island and how that can be done as a day trip I am now wondering if perhaps I shouldn't drop a couple of the other tours and rent a car and do...More

Don't do it. You are right that we will have short days and possible rain during your visit. Seattle traffic is awful, and your plan has you driving in both morning and evening rush hour. Since you dislike driving on unfamiliar roads this is not even a close call. The pleasure of visiting Whidbey, which, although very pretty and interesting, is not one of the world's must-see destinations, will be outweighed by the pain of driving in iffy weather. You appear to have a great trip planned...More
