This was the perfect way to see Seattle. It was just my friend and I and Colin was such a great guide. He had totally personalized the tour and was just a generally friendly guy to hang out with. We were able to go at our own pace and still see a lot. Totally recommend this for a fun way to get a taste of Seattle. There were no major hills either and we had perfect weather.

My husband and I went on the Lake Union loop ride with Colin on a recent weekend trip to Seattle. We've done bike tours in a lot of cities, and this was definitely one of the best. Colin is super knowledgeable about Seattle/Northwest history, which he shares in a fun, low-key way. My husband is a stronger by cyclist than me, but I was able to do fine with the bits that were uphill and the small portions on streets - Colin did a great job of explaining exactly where we were going and I always felt safe. We thoroughly enjoyed the stops at the cafe, chocolate factory, brewery, and Gasworks Park. We hope to return to Seattle soon, and will definitely check out Seattle by Bike's other tours.

I like to be active and to see more than the obvious sights when I visit a city, and I try to give out-of-town visitors a similar experience when they come to Seattle. The Lake Washington Scenic Ride was an excellent way to meet all of those objectives.

Starting in the city, we quickly progressed to the shores of Lake Washington, then to open land outside the city, to Redmond (home of Microsoft) and back across a floating bridge over the lake. Almost all the route was on bike trails (partly a rails-to-trails route), and our guide (Colin) was great - knowledgeable, considerate, thoughtful, and articulate.

You need to be comfortable on a road bike, but the pace was leisurely and tailored to the group, with plenty of stops.

Highly recommended!

The bike tour was fantastic. We met at the bike store and got some high end bikes that were adjusted to our height. We then were off on the tour. The tour lasted about 3.5 hours and we were able to see so many of the sights and also get stories sprinkled in by Colin that gave us a lot of background about Seattle. We were able to stay away from a lot of the hills so the ride itself was not overwhelming. I would strongly recommend this bike tour!

Booked a 3.5 hour city tour with Colin. Our group of 4 was expertly guided on a 16 mile loop around Lake Union, through Space Needle area, downtown, waterfront, Ballard Locks and back. Bikes are brand new and easy to ride. Bike paths in Seattle are easy to ride and we didn't see any bad drivers - all respected our right of way which is good, especially for folks who aren't used to city bicycle rides! Colin was a great guide - stopping frequently to point out sites and give interesting historical perspective. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were in town and decided to take a bike tour. The weather was looking crummy and Colin said we can turn around if it’s not gonna work out. It more than worked out and we had a fantastic time. Colin really loves the history and places of interest and you can tell by his enthusiasm and knowledge of the subject. He spent so much time with us and really tailored the bike tour to our interests. The last little bit it started raining and we did care as we were having a blast! Next time we are in Seattle, we are definitely taking him up on his bites and brew tour. This tour was our most favorite activity all week.

We had a terrific bike ride around Seattle with Colin today! Loved seeing the best of this city by bike on a leisurely four hour ride. I would highly recommend this company if you are considering this on your visit.

Had a wonderful bike tour of the upper loop of Lake Washington, 50 miles of bike trails and very informative guide. Colin is owner/tour guide and he really knows Seattle. Comfortable pace, good conversation, and the scenery is wonderful! Highly recommend!

Did the Emerald city tour with Colin. Colin was very nice and knowledgeable. Tour lasted 3:30 hours but wasn't very challenging physically. Bikes were pretty nice. All in all, great tour!

We had an amazing time biking around Seattle with our tour guide, Colin. He was knowledgeable about the area and the route was super easy (~15 mile loop over 3.5-4 hours). We were only in town for about 3 days and it was a great way to see places that aren’t on your typical agenda. My wife and I would highly recommend this bike tour!
