This is a nice lake to jog or walk around. There are lots of local places to eat around it, but there can be a lot of homeless people there panhandling.

This lovely park is a wonderful place to walk, dog walk, roller skate, buggy push or bike ride around. Lanes are marked on the sidewalk for wheeled things or foot power. It's fun to watch all the people and see those doing the opposite loop...More

as part of my marathon training, went running around the lakes for 3 loops. the trail is very scenic, and has places to stop for bathroom or water breaks. Added bonus - there are a number of eateries nearby

We went with our daughter and her family (husband, two kids, and their dog), and spent a wonderful morning here before going for lunch. It's nice and calm, and the perfect day to start a relaxing day off.

Loved being among the locals who walk, cycle and run around the park. We spent two nights here and the weather was magnificent and we couldn't get enough of the outdoors. Lovely area.

In town for only a day post-cruise, we saw mention of the Equinox event in the Freemont area at Green Lake Park and chuckled about attending. IT WAS GREAT! Gorgeous park around a pretty lake.

I love this park for its beauty, the water, a taste of Seattle local life and to people watch. My local running chapter meets every Saturday and it's a great way to start the day. Enjoy the red and golden yellow leaves in October, too.
