You do not really understand the vastness of the city until you are this high up. Learning a bit of the history is always a welcomed thing. If you do not like being up high with large crowds, I suggest not going up or walking...More

Totally loved this 360 degree view of the Seattle and surrounding area. Make sure you go up when the sky is clear or you might only see cloudy horizons. The Columbia building is about a 10-15 minute walk from Pike Place (be prepared to climb...More

Did this early on a Sunday morning. Views exceptional, although a little disappointed we couldn't see the mountains- that was all down to the weather. The cafe is closed on Sunday too. However, there is a full 360 view and you are way higher than...More

This has a very impressive view of Seattle. Lot's of information on the landscape and points of interest. And, best of all, it is a fraction of the price of the Space Needle with better views.

Did this instead of space needle . Less expensive and amazing views. You can see everything . Great photo spot cafe also so you can sit and relax and take it all in.

Following Tripadvisor advice, we chose Sky View Observatory over the Space Needle. The building is way taller and up the hill from the Needle, providing a fabulous view of the entire region, including looking down on the antiquated little Space Needle. The entrance fee is...More

My husband and I went to the space needle but it was closed so we decided to try sky view instead. I thought the price was a little high, but you do get a great view of the city.

My granddaughter loves three buildings most in Seattle and the Sky View Observatory is the tallest. She's asked over and over to go every time she comes to visit. It's such an easy visit without long lines when we've gone. Personally, I love being able...More
