My wife and I took mom to see the exhibit, as she is an avid fan of Sherlock Holmes. We decided to go on Monday, Jan 2nd, in the hopes that the crowd wouldn't be...well, crowded. The exhibit was fantastic, with so many displays about...More

We were travelling and home tutoring our 12 year old son. This was very good, with excellent staff that engaged our son in activities. It was quiet when we went, and was informative about insects and planet earth.

The museum campus is broken into three buildings that are interconnected and surround an outdoor attraction area. The layout was confusing to me and I felt a lot of exhibits left me asking more questions than they really answered. There is a lot of space...More

Although adults can also learn from their time here, it appears to be geared toward kids. An exception was the Sherlock Holmes special exhibit.

We went for the Sherlock Holmes exhibit. A lot of good artefacts, but at approximately $30 per head, I'd rate it massively overpriced. The exhibit was much too crowded so it was very difficult to read pertinent info on Holmes's life and historical context in...More
