We went there for a short weekend getaway. The zoo is not big, but it exceeded our expectation. It has many cultural elements and not just the animals. My 6 and 3 year old had a blast there, excited about everything they saw. We also...More

This is a very nice zoo. a lot bigger then we thought. The weather was nice so it was really. It will take awhile to go through the whole thing so plan accordingly.

Having been to lots of zoos, I really liked this one. The layout was easy to follow and you didn't feel as though you'd missed anything. It was fairly quiet when we visited and not sure if it was due to the season, but none...More

Busy sunday at the Woodland Park Zoo. Parking was a nightmare. Worst nightmare. All lots full. Parked on street. Animals were out, hard to take pictures with glare of sun on windows. Most exhibits were packed with bodies. Only a few of the food venues...More

The temperature was about 45 degrees, but most of the animals were visible. It was our first experience at this zoo and we were quite impressed.

The children still seemed to have enjoyed it but there weren't many animals out. So didn't work out for us and we only spent about 3 hours there.

It was so nice to see the animals enjoying their habitats. The monkeys were playing non stop during our visit. The assortment of animals is nice and with so many view points of each enclosure, you are sure to see your favorites.

We visited with our daughter to celebrate her third birthday, and she had a blast. It was cold the day we went (it even snowed a bit!), so some animals weren’t out for viewing, but those that were looked healthy and well taken care of....More
