At the end of our vacation to the Pacific Northwest we realized we only had one day to see Mount Rainier and really didn’t feel like driving there from Seattle. I also knew if we drove we wouldn’t see all we could, so after some research I contacted Daniel at Yonder Sky and went yesterday. From beginning to end the experience was professional, fun, and we got to see so much! We were picked up promptly from our hotel in a beautiful Mercedes van by Daniel who pampered us and was so friendly and fun. We were joined by three other clients, for a total of 7 which meant we each got the attention we wanted.

After the drive to Mount Rainier (with a brief stop for pastries and coffee) we entered the park which was magnificent. Daniel has tremendous knowledge of the mountain, perfect hiking spots and the timing to each to maximize the chance of seeing Rainier in its glory before the clouds roll in. During the trip we stopped at 7 or 8 places, some were brief photo stops, some were easy, short hikes. I have a recent hip replacement and another bad hip and was easily able to do all the hikes with no problems. Some were up to a mile or so, but all were on paved or packed earth trails. Daniel took his time and the whole group, ranging from teens to seniors had a good time. Midway through our day we stopped for a delicious picnic in the forest; food was excellent.

I would recommend taking a light sweater or jacket. The day we were there was gorgeous and warm, but when the clouds rolled in I was a bit chilly. All in all, I felt pampered and so blessed to have seen this beautiful National Park with thie individual attention we received from Daniel and Yonder Sky. Now that I’ve been there we plan to return in the future, but even if we don’t I feel we’ve seen Rainier in the best possible way!

We had a wonderful day with Daniel (he not only did double-duty as the driver and tour guide, but he is also one of the owners of the company). There were about seven of us total in the group and it didn't take long for everyone to begin conversing. We were picked up right in front of our hotel and we made one stop to pick up the other group of people before we went on our way. The drive to the falls was quite nice (once we got out of the city traffic). Daniel was quite informative and we all learned a lot about the area. There was a stop at a railroad station before the falls for some pictures and treats. You are taken to the top viewing area of the falls and then you can decide if you would like to take a walk that gets you to the bottom of the falls for a different view (you can also just ride back in the van to the pick-up spot). Make sure you have shoes with good traction (sneakers are probably best since it can get slippery). The lunch in the town of Woodinville was so delicious (we never would have found the place on our own). Daniel asked us some questions and that helped him decide which wineries he would take us to. There are many treats along the way, so I don't want to spoil the surprise for anyone. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour company since I'm sure all of their tours are top-notch.

My wife booked this trip for us and a friend, and they are the wine drinkers. I’m the tag-along. But being the tag-along is this case didn’t mean being second class. Matt was a wonderful host and was very knowledgeable. I was able to ride shotgun, so I could converse with him and also hear his commentary and answers to questions. In addition to the winery tours, we saw some spectacular scenery. The falls are beautiful, and as Matt pointed out, are taller than Niagara Falls. Matt let us set the pace and we never felt rushed. His van was clean and comfortable. It was a great outing and I highly recommend it.

Matt was a fantastic tour guide for our day trip to Snoqualmie Falls and some Woodinville area wineries. He picked us up at our downtown hotel, had coffee and wonderful pastries ready for us. The falls were gorgeous, lunch was delicious and wineries were spot on! Please consider booking with Yonder Sky. You will not be disappointed. Cannot thank Matt enough for the fantastic day!

If you are looking to experience the natural beauty of Mt. Rainier, this tour is for you. Yonder Sky made the experience truly amazing and easy for us to do while in town for business and pleasure.

The day started with Daniel, our guide for the day, picking us up directly at our hotel in a beautiful and comfortable Mercedes van. Our tour included one other couple, which we picked up and were headed for the mountains within 15 minutes after the second group joined us. Daniel was very engaging with the group and provided us with historical information on the city and where we were headed. After driving for just over an hour we stopped for a coffee/bathroom break and enjoyed hot beverages ad delicious pastries. We arrived at the National Park approximately 2 hours after we started and were immediately overwhelmed with the natural wonder of the mountain and the beauty that surrounds it. Daniel was very flexible in making the day as active as we wanted and selected many stops along the way where we could get out and enjoy the trails, waterfalls, and meadows. We all were treated to a scrumptious lunch of chicken, salad, couscous and delectable brownies, plus Washington Wines. Lunch was served on china and made the experience that much more special. We ended up with a typical rainy, foggy day, but that didn't stop us from thoroughly enjoying everything and had a wonderful day that ended with us being dropped off back at our respective hotel rooms. I highly recommend Yonder Sky to use for your next tour as they were very professional, efficient and informative. Can't wait to come back and do another tour with them.

We had a wonderful day seeing Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park, thanks to Yonder Sky Tours. We were picked up right in front of our downtown Seattle location and our driver/guide Daniel navigated us out of the city in a luxurious Mercedes van. We didn't have time for breakfast before the tour, so the hot coffee and pastries that were ready for us were really appreciated (and the best pastries ever!). Daniel is truly an expert on Washington history and geology and his commentary was so interesting! We saw gorgeous scenery in the park and learned so much. The picnic lunch we enjoyed in a beautiful location was like something you'd expect from a first-class lunch restaurant! I can't think of a better way to see Mt. Rainier than this tour that takes care of everything for you -- driving, food and drinks, getting into the park, knowing the best places to stop and go for walks, and learning about the area.

What a wonderful wine tour in Seattle! Matt Haven did an excellent job from pick up at our hotel in a spotless vehicle to drop off back at our hotel. At all points during the day long tour, we enjoyed his knowledge and a most relaxing day. He went far beyond our expectations. I highly recommend Yonder Sky!

This is a very nice small group tour. Only 6 of us and visited 3 Washington wineries. The main one of course is Chateau Saint Michelle then 2 local places that were actually quite good. Stopped at nice local place for lunch where we had a very very good faro risotto. Dan was a great host and lots of wine was included. Highly recommend this tour....Waterfall a little overrated, but that’s just a personal preference if you are into that. 👍👍

Seeing Mount Rainier with Daniel at Yonder Sky was the best decision we made for our trip to Seattle. We wanted to see the mountain but didn't have a rent car, had no idea how to get there, so we decided to hire a guide. Yonder Sky was the best!! There were only 4 guests and it was perfect. Daniel picked us up at our hotels, took us to a wonderful rest stop only an hour away for morning tea and snacks, then headed up the mountain. We stopped often to get out of the van and do short hikes. Lunch was impossibly awesome! China, silverware, cloth napkins, grilled chicken, cous cous, noodles, grilled vegetables, and WINE! Wonderful brownies for dessert. Then back to our hotels. We couldn't have been happier with Yonder Sky. We highly recommend them to anyone who wants a really special way to see the sights in Seattle.
