WONDERFUL beach and eclectic city. So much to do in a leisure way., Sit on beach, eat breakfast at local coffee shop, grab beer n lunch, back to beach and then to quaint dinner on beach front. TOTALLY worth EVERY minute spent here. MUST go to Kahuna Daves beach shop and listen to him relate you to someone famous and... More

Alki Beach has a nice park to walk, several good restaurants but the best part is that you can take some amazing views of the Seattle skyline without a boat.

Parking is bad, we were here on a quiet day I would hate to see it on a summers day. The waves crashing over the walls nearby was a great experience.

This is a nice beach to visit on a sunny summer day. If you have the time to get out of town, you should go somewhere else and avoid the crowds. The biggest challenge is finding a place to park.

It's just a small beach, really. Way too crowded, but on a perfect night (so rare here, because of the weather) the view of the Seattle skyline is spectacular.

Just, no. Too busy. Shilshole is better. More locals, few tourists. Total family vibe. I went to Alki on a weekend in July, and it was miserable. Hour long waits at restaurants, no parking, and just too much traffic. Maybe you thrive on that vibe, and if that's you, this is your place. If not, hit up Shilshole. Seriously.

Alki Beach is the best beach on Elliot Bay and has great views of downtown Seattle, the Bay and Bainbridge Island. It also has some of the best and lest expensive seafood restaurants in Seattle.

Alki Beach was a great place to walk and enjoy the "reverse" view as we leaving town. En route to SeaTac, we were able to enjoy views of the downtown skyline across the water and it was spectacular! We also enjoyed a great lunch and did a little last minute shopping in the cute downtown area. I would imagine it's... More

We enjoyed a nice walk along the beach, even though the wind was blowing strongly. There were beautiful clouds and the mountains could still be seen as well. This is a great place to visit any time of the year.

We went here when the tides were low to check out the tide pools. We saw some amazing stuff and managed to check out some moon snails (now I know why they are called that) There is not a lot of different creatures however the ones you find are well worth it. Make sure to check the timing of the... More
