We had a great knife making class for my husband's birthday! The whole experience was 3 hours. Matt was a great teacher! The class was small enough to offer a lot of guidance. We would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun and unique experience!

Spiff puts together perfect combination of education, coaching, hands on help, and soundtrack! Nothing like learning a new skill, facing intense elements with all the tools you need, having a passionate teacher, and walking away with a cool knife! Thank you, Spiff!

3 hours class making a knife from a horseshoe. Great fun, wonderful studio space, great instructors who really enjoy their craft and teaching. My friend who also took the class is 79, I’m 75 and she and I had no problem completing the project. Extremely well organized studio and instruction!

I appreciate being trusted to follow directions and do the work without too much assistance from staff. Everyone’s project was a little different due to creative freedom. The staff provided the right amount of help and support. We were always engaged. It was a meaningful, educational alternative to typical tourist attractions when the weather was too bad for parks. The knife and the experience is the coolest souvenir/memory from our Seattle trip. The shirts are cool, too. Check out the location a little early so you’re on time. It’s a little confusing.

Surprise birthday party at Lawless Forge. Hands on fun, learning how to work red-hot metal, from forge to anvil using tongs, precise hammering in a series of steps to create the desired shape. We made knives, and I am pleased to say mine is sharp and actually something I can use. Lots of fun, great instructors. I would definitely recommend Lawless Forge for a party or a team building activity.
