We booked a private four day tour for ourselves and another couple. Our tour guide and Bon Vivant Wine Tours owner, Michael picked us up at our downtown Seattle hotel and we headed down the Yakima Valley Region, stopping briefly to see Snoqualmie Falls before stopping for lunch and wine tastings. The second day was spent touring the Red Mountain Region, tasting the cabs, merlots, and syrahs the region is known for. We continued on to Walla Walla Valley on our third day, and our final day was spent in the South Walla Walla Valley.

All the wineries visited were by reservation and we were welcomed in the most friendly manner by all. Michael did an excellent job communicating the plans for the tour, was extremely knowledgeable about the different wine regions, and was considerate to ask if we wanted changes made to the itinerary. Not being familiar with the area we went with his suggestions and were not disappointed. He gave us great recommendations for lodging and evening dining, and even took care of the dining reservations. This was a great trip! What a way to celebrate for a special occasion.

Coming up for another reason and thought it would be fun to explore the wineries near Seattle. Our phone call from Michael confirming our tour opened up a whole new custom tour combining the best of the best, both in Seattle and Woodinville. Then the gift of Judith as our guide, really make it the exceptional experience. Well known by the staff of each winery allowed for longer discussions and maybe even a few more tastings! Her knowledge and engaging stories completed the experience. Highly recommend Bon Vivant Wine Tours. We will be contacting them again on our next visit

We loved the wine tour of Bainbridge Island. It was our 35th Anniversary and we wanted something unique and fun. Taking our grown kids along for the tour, Mike set up the wineries so we always had a seat and even made lunch reservations at a popular restaurant. He picked us up and dropped us at our hotel so that made the tour super simple. A knowledgable host on Washington Wine he also knows all the wine vintners. We highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful guide. Michael was very accommodating, he never rushed us through our wine tasting experience. We were impressed that he know all of the people at the wineries and at our lunch destination. When there was a problem, he handled the situation calmly and rearranged our tour schedule without any stress. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

We are delighted that you enjoyed the tour...Michael does have a lot of knowledge about wine making in general and on Bainbridge in particular. We look forward to seeing you again.

Very disappointing. When we booked this tour in March, we expected to visit a number of wineries in picturesque vineyards. With one exception, Chateau Ste. Michelle, this was not the case. Instead, we drove through warehouse districts, pulled into parking lots hidden behind blank concrete walls. As far as Chateau Ste. Michelle, this was the one winery that my wife told Michael was a must when she originally booked the tour. However, a week before we were schedule to go on the tour, Michael contacted us to confirm our reservations. My wife asked about Chateau Ste. Michelle and Michael told her that we would not be going there because they were closed on Mondays, the day we were scheduled. My wife reminded Michael of their earlier conversations, and that we booked a tour on Monday at his suggestion, with his knowing full well, that this winery was a must. After this, he did call back to say that he was wrong, the winery was open and would be included in the tour. I have no doubt that, had she not been so insistent, we would have visited another concrete block building.
The actual tastings were good, but the pours were very, very limited. We have toured many wineries over the years and these were, by far, the smallest “pours” that we have seen.
The best part of tour was that we met a very nice couple with whom we shared several tastings and lunch.

Ah yes, timing is everything. Due Covid's impact on their business, Chateau Ste. Michelle (and many others) didn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays for much of the year. Thankfully, just as your tour date came up, Chateau again began welcoming customers on Mondays and Tuesdays, and we were delighted to be able to get you in there. You probably know that the vineyards are in Eastern Washington, 3-5 hours drive from Woodinville, thus the smaller wineries/tasting rooms aren't as scenic on the outside. But as you noted, pour excellent wines. We look forward to touring with you and your wife again.

Peter was an excellent and knowledgeable guide, who took us to four very different tasting rooms. It was a pleasure working with Bon Vivant, and their follow-up was amazing. There was a slight snafu at one of the stops, and within 24 hours, they have secured fir us a partial refund of the tasting fee because of the mix-up. I would highly recommend this company.

The Bon Vivant shuttle bus pickup and dropoff at my house was convenient, and the driver/tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and had a degree in wine making. We visited four different tasting rooms; Chateau St. Michelle was one, and the others were much smaller. We tasted a wide variety of wines throughout the day and learned so much about WA wines. I highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I took the Bon Vivant wine tour to Bainbridge Island. We have taken many wine tours over the years. This tour was by far, the worst value for the money. In addition to paying for the tour, we had to pay for tasting fees at each winery. We also had to buy our own lunch. Surprisingly, we only visited three locations. One of the tasting rooms was in downtown Seattle, not on the island. Our tour guide was pleasant but not pleasant enough to make up for the fact that we got much less from the tour than we should have considering the price of the tour.

It’s true that the tour cost doesn't cover tasting fees. There are important reasons for this...1-If you buy wine to take home, many wineries waive some or all of the tasting fee. If we paid the fee, you wouldn't get that savings benefit, we would. 2- By the end of the day, some guests choose to skip or share a tasting, once again you wouldn't get that benefit, we would. So all in all, we think it's more fair to our guests if we don't pay the tasting fees. And that's why we put that information in both of our confirmation notices sent to you via the TripAdvisor/Viator App. As for the number of winery visits. The wineries on Bainbridge are lovely and quaint and very small. Crush has started here in Washington, and the small wineries close for a few weeks while they handle all of the incoming grapes. Thank you for joining us in Washington Wine Country, we look forward to seeing you again.

Peter picked us up in Seattle as planned and right on time! My husband, daughter and I were then joined by seven others. It was such a fun group! Peter told us about places as we drove to the wineries, he was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour!
