Whenever I am down in Seattle, I always stop at the World Spice Market to replenish my spice collection. They have a great assortment of spices and blends which are packed with incredible flavour. The shop can be a little cramped but the staff are extremely helpful and patient bringing down jar upon jar of spices to check out. Some... More

I have been here several times and I love it each time I go. I am in LOVE with their loose leaf teas. Especially the Floral Sonets tea. The prices are reasonable as well. Plus they offer a military discount of 15%. Customer service is always friendly. I would definitely recommend checking it out and it us right by Pike... More

The spices sold here are by far the best you can buy. They are always fresh. The staff is very helpful, as is their website. The smell of fresh ground spices permeates the air for blocks. This is one spot I return to every time I visit Washington state

I first visited three years ago on a flying trip. We barely had enough time to cruise the market and stop at this shop. What a find! They have a wide range of spices and teas, and their house blends are amazing. Try any or all of the following: Vadovan curry, Kashmiri curry, Chorizo Bomb, Mole Ole, Fajita Taco Spice.... More

For those who would like to jazz up their preparation of food a bit with one, two or more fresh spices from around the world, then this is the place to come. Dozens sit on display in jars, where customers sniff the contents and decide what to buy. They write down their choices and leave the list at the counter,... More

This place is well worth making the trip to Pike Place & finding your way down the stairs to Western. The spices are uber-fresh, and their prices are a fraction of what you pay for the sawdust passing as spice found in grocery stores. Plus the friendly staff can give you plenty of ways to use those little bottles of... More

Because ot the many detours around Pike Market, we needed to be vigilant about where we could part. We found a garage, then - as we left the building - ran right into a clapboard sign that advertised this place. of course, my wife being the great cook that she is, just had to go in and, for sure, she... You walk in and the smell is wonderful. I love the idea you can mix your own spices or buy one of there pre-made bottles.

My "go to" for spices. iheart this place! The staff are very knowledgeable. It beats buying spices from the grocery store, which cost a ton for a small bottle & have probably been on the shelf for who knows how long!!

Either visit or use their website, World Spice is the best. Found them about 8 years ago on a trip to Seattle and have been getting the bulk of my spices from them ever since. My wife is a tea drinker and loves the quality of teas from them.
