For one of the best views of Seattle head to Kerry Park, a small park located on the south side of Queen Anne Hill.  A photo from here is Seattle postcard-perfect, featuring ferries crossing Elliott Bay, the city skyline with the Space Needle in the forefront and, if weather conditions are favorable, a view of Mt. Rainier.

This park has what may be the best view of Seattle. The park is situated in a way that makes the Space Needle appear to be the largest building in Seattle, and on a good day you get a view of Mt. Rainier too. Great photo opportunity. And it's a really nice neighborhood too.

One of the best high places to get the best view and photos of the Seattle Skyline. Family friendly park with limited parking. We walked down the hill a block or two to a cute little playground with artistic child tiles which I enjoyed looking at.

This isn't really much of a park. It is a small rectangle strip of lawn with an overlook to perhaps the best view of the city. This is in a large residential area and probably a half mile away from the Space Needle. This isn't necessarily a well known park ---even for people who live in the city. However, every... More

The view of the city is absolutely gorgeous! We went to Kerry Park on a weekend evening right at sunset, and there were plenty of people but we didn't feel crowded. You might want to bring a blanket to sit on, and maybe to snuggle under (if you stay later into the evening) Also, the parking made it easy to... More

Excellent panoramic cityscape view, and great view of Mount Rainier. I would advise you to be prepared for windy conditions.

Not far from the Seattle center (we walked) within upper queen ann which also is adorned with beautiful old craftsman homes. Plus, this public park is free! You will not regret going here - save money and skip the space needle, head here instead!

BRING YOUR CAMERA AND LENSES--A PHOTOGRAPHERS DELIGHT!!! I visited Kerry Park several times during my stay in Seattle. Its a great place to see the city both during the day and at night. It is easily accessible but It should be noted the location is in a residential neighborhood with very limited parking. Im quite sure most postcard pictures are... More

My husband likes this place so much we visited twice. You can take excellent pictures of Seattle at night from here without spending money and waiting in long line at the Space Needle.
