I had visited Skagway some 5 years ago and purchased a beautiful whale tail necklace at Alaska Artworks. It tarnished and I just couldn't get it shined up again. When we traveled through Skagway this year, the owner made it glow once again. I loved...More

What delightful and friendly people with a great shop. My boys found this unique shop while walking around town. They brought my husband and myself back to see two paintings they were interested in, which we purchased. We ended up coming back and buying three...More

Awesome little place chock full of art and crafts by Alaskans. Better than any place recommended by our cruise ship. My husband and I purchased an original watercolor and a handcrafted mug. Prices cannot be beat!

Happened to pass by after spending day in Skagway and just loved this little shop. Owner was the best, and shipped art home for me. Do not miss this gem when in Skagway!

This is a great place to get art pjeces made and conceptualized in Alaska. The paintings and prints capture the local landscape and traditions. The prices are fair and proceeds help keep alive local arts and crafts.

This is a wonderful little store that has great art and jewelry, ALL from Alaska. The owners/ workers know the artists they carry and can talk about their style. Best is they package the art to travel home without it being damaged!

I too was surprised to find such great purchase options when I walked into this small art shop in Skagway last week. We ended up purchasing a caribou antler art (i.e. art made of a shredded caribou's antler). Pretty unique and cost $100 USD. There...More

I really wasn't expecting a lot when I entered this gallery. After all, all the others I'd seen in Skagway carried overpriced item geared for the cruise ship crowd. This place though, was different. Small, sure, but chocked full of Alaska art. Paintings, sculptures, woodblocks...More
