Nice part of the landscape of Alaska. We viewed this from a train, so if you want good shots of the falls from the train bring a large telephoto lens. Not the most spectacular but a good scenic shot of Alaska if you have a...More

We were expecting a much larger falls but you can see this one a few feet/meters from your vehicle. We ran into a tour that invovled biking down the highway at the Falls. Our guide referred to them as "Meals on Wheels"...for the bears. :-)

Saw when on a tour. It is a waterfall. It is always great to see a waterfall, but not big. It is very long coming down the mountain.

These falls, apparently, mark the border between the US and Canada and are best viewed through a pretty long lens. Not often you see a border area so underpopulated!

Our small tour group stopped here on our way to the Yukon border. This whole area is absolutely beautiful. Not far from this stop, we sited bears and stopped again for pictures.

Best day trip along the highway out of Skagway and into the beautiful Canadian mountains. Do make sure you wear layers and allow yourself hours along the curvy road to take pictures!
