I hurt my foot the day before the tour; we were on the cruise ship and I called to cancel our tickets, but no one answered and no one returned my call. On the day of the tour I was called by one of the tour employees asking why we weren't there; I said I had called, no one answered, and we weren't going. She suggested I call the people through whom I booked the tour, which would be Trip Advisor or Viator. Good luck finding any contact. I'm out $140.

We took the bus tour of the Yukon with our driver Mike. He did an awesome job keeping us on a good schedule to avoid the crowds so we were able to get the most benefit from our trip. We saw so much wildlife and learned a great deal about the area. Wonderful experience!

We took the 6.5-hr tour up the Klondike Highway into the Yukon Territory of British Columbia. We were supposed to meet the tour rep at the cruise ship terminal but I found him at the tour bus parking lot. Joey was very entertaining and tried to answer everyone's questions as well as take their photos. The scenery was beautiful but the haze from forest fires blurred the beauty. We were taken to a Caribou Crossing outpost and given barbecue chicken for lunch. Next to the restaurant is the Royal Canadian Mountain Police Museum which is quite interesting. Admission was included.

My sisters and I went on a week long Alaska trip in May, and we all agree that the half day Whitehorse territory bus excursion was our favorite part of the trip. I highly recommend it for budget travelers because the bus gives you a great view for a great price. Our only downside - we wish we had done the full day instead! Alaska has a very cruise-oriented tourist industry, so excursion prices are obscene. But not at Skagway tours. My sisters and I were unsure what to do with our day in Skagway, as it was cold and rainy. We then met Kevin at the Skagway Tours information center and he knowledgeably guided us to choosing the perfect tour that fit our interests and budget. He was so friendly and helpful, making the experience off to a fantastic start! And the bus tour ended up being the perfect fit for the weather, as once you get past the mountain that Skagway is the valley of, the weather completely changes and becomes beautiful. Our host on the tour was Aruna, and she was WONDERFUL! If you can request Aruna, do it. She is amazing and everyone loved her. Everybody was giving her hugs to say "goodbye" by the end of the 3 hr trip. She knows so much interesting information about so many different Alaskan subjects. It wouldn't have been possible to get kinder, funnier, and knowledgeable tour guide. If you're going to Skagway, wether for a day or for a week, I definitely recommend Skagway Tours!
