You’ll pass by some of the few remaining signs of what was once a scrambling gold rush town of 10,000, including the Slide Cemetery. Then you will ride out of the rainforest and onto the Dyea flats overlooking the northern tip of the Lynn Canal. Discover why the locals come here to view wildlife such as eagles and the salmon run. Soak in the serenity and marvel at the majestic mountains, streams, and Alaskan wildflowers. We got off shuttle and the ladies greeted us and handed us helmets. They gave us basic riding lesson and assign us horse. Wonderful mounting/dismounting blocks. Very nice how they kept family’s and friends together in same trail ride. Beautiful location but wrangler was hard...More

The horses at the facility were very nice and easy to ride, but the ride itself was beyond boring. It was short, mostly on a road and then back to the place. I would not go again, too boring.
