This 6 hour tour was well worth it! I would highly recommend my tour guide, JJ, because she was very informative, funny, and kind (: I learned a lot from this excursion, and she made sure that I put my camera to good use! JJ took us into the Yukon territory where we got to visit a sled dog farm... More

On July 19,2016, we took a tour with one of the best story tellers/tour guides that we've ever experienced. Mike, and his dog, Charlie, kept us enthralled and in stitches with his droll humour and insider knowledge of Alaska and the area stretching to the Yukon. The tour, called "the half day tour to the Yukon border" presented us with... More

My husband and I took the tour bus up all the way to Emerald Lake. This tour takes you further than the standard railroad tour that is advertised. I would highly recommend this excursion, and Frontier Excursions overall. Their customer service was phenomenal, and our tour guide, Brooke, was hilarious, knowledgeable, and an overall incredible tour guide. Thank you so... More

We were picked up just near the cruise ship. It was a minibus with with about 25 people. No bathroom. Our driver T-bone who was also our tour guide did a fantastic job of narrating the visit. It was a 6 1/2 hour trip. 1 hour lunch stop with excellent food. It went by very quickly. Unfortunately it was cloudy... More

We were referred to Frontier Excursions through family members who are seasonal cruise workers in Skagway. Very pleasing experience!! We were worried about being cooped up in a tour bus for a long boring tour with a couple of highlights. This tour so far from being long and boring. Dillon (Dylan?) was very talkative and informative. He told us great... More

We enjoyed the bus ride to the Alaska/Canadian border even more so because we had the best guide ever!! From his incredible knowledge of Skagway history to surreptitiously using our camera for a selfie or photo bombing us, Thomas made us laugh and learn. Frontier was great in timeliness and service!!! Why go through the cruise ship when you can... More

The full day trip to the Yukon was excellent. Our guide, T-Bone!, made the trip the best it could be. He was the best--very knowledgeable, great sense of humor, and very considerate of everyone's needs and wants. Views were beautiful, mini-bus was comfortable--so much better than a full size bus or train. Lunch was fine, donuts were good. We did... More

First we climbed the mountainous Klondike Highway driving north to the US/Canadian border, paralleling the 1898 Gold Rush Trail to the White Pass summit at 3292 feet. Along the way viewed coastal rainforest, magnificent waterfalls, glaciers, and snowcapped peaks. We made multiple stops at scenic views like Pitchfork Falls, Moore Creek Bridge, and Welcome to Alaska sign, Summit Lake and... More

We did the Yukon Discovery Tour on 7/5 and loved every minute of it. It's the perfect way to see a lot in a short port stop. So many great scenic pictures, sled dog summer camp, and Emerald Lake is breathtaking! Great kudos to Brooke, who really made the experience extra special with her historical knowledge and interesting stories about... More
