We had such an amazing experience visiting Skagway, BC, and Yukon with our guide Anna. It was awesome to see all those crowds loading into big busses for similar tours, when we had our own private van and a guide who accommodated all our requests, including car seats for kids and custom stops to avoid the crowds for the landmarks and attractions. It was also a much cheaper deal to book directly with Beyond Skagway then getting same tour (even with an early discount) directly through the cruise line we were on. I definitely recommend this tours to everyone who ever has a pleasure of visiting Skagway!

We were a group of 18 friends and booked two of their mini buses (they each held 11). Anna and Lynn were waiting for us when we disembarked at 7:15. The buses were very clean and had large viewing windows. We picked up our pre-ordered lunches from Glacial Cafe in Skagway and after a brief tour of the town, headed up the pass towards Carcross. We made lots of stops to view the waterfalls, landscape, lakes and wildlife. Everyone loved the guides and they were excellent drivers. We spent about an hour in Carcross and had our lunches... Glacial Cafe's lunches were fantastic. A few minutes outside of Carcross we visited the dunes and Emerald Lake. We were so lucky with the weather for September... no wind and the reflections in the lakes, particularly Emerald Lake were spectacular. Anna and Lynn dropped some of us off in town and others went directly to the ship when we returned to Skagway.
Felt so lucky to book this tour and would recommend it to everyone.

Anna and Skagway Tours provided us an absolutely perfect day spent touring Skagway and it into the Yukon. We did the one way Scenic Railway between Skagway and Fraser, BC (breathtaking!) and our guide, Anna, delivered us straight from the cruise pier to the rail car to load up. After a magical 90 mins of sight seeing on the train, she was waiting trainside for us in Fraser where she spent the next seven hours or so taking us to all the best sight seeing spots and hitting every single bucket list item on our to do list. We stopped at the Yukon Suspension Bridge, cuddled musher puppies, panned for gold, marveled at Emerald Lake, had a delicious lunch and shopping time in Carcross and literally hit a dozen or more scenic spots along the way. Anna was an absolute delight and this day was truly one of the highlights of our trip!!! We would one thousand percent use Skagway Tours again in the future, as the entire process from initial inquiry to trip completion was handled professionally and with great communication at each step, as they handled acquiring our rail tickets and setting up our entire itinerary so that we could simply relax and enjoy. Thank you so much Anna, you’re phenomenal!!

I cannot express enough how wonderful the Beyond Skagway Team is. Our tour was remarkable and Tim was extremely knowledgeable about the area. We were a party of 8 with two small children and he was so kind and patient with us. We were able to travel from the port all the way into Canada to see the Yukon territory and Emerald Lake. If you a debating on what excursion to take in Skagway, look no further...this is the excursion/tour you want to take.

Booked this as an excursion for our family of five during our Alaska cruise. Our guide Trevor was great and his knowledge of the area was impressive. We never felt rushed and we saw some really beautiful views! We enjoyed the suspension bridge, emerald lake, and many other spectacular views but the highlight for most was the mushing camp. Highly recommend this tour for a fun, informative day trip!

We booked a private tour for 9 people with ages ranging from 4 to grandparents. Trevor was an awesome tour guide, and this was our favorite excursion in Alaska! We saw bears, eagles and mountain goats, went on a sled dog ride and pet huskie puppies, panned for gold in emerald lake, and discovered treasure caches along with having the most gorgeous views of Alaska/Yukon/BC mountains, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls. Definitely a bucket list trip for all!

We booked a private tour for our family of 7 (all adults) and we were charmed by our guide, Maryssa. She was very patient and had a great knowledge of the history of Skagway and also of everything in general, from grocery price to more specific geographical facts ! The scenery was spectacular and we did as many photo stops as we want. I would recommend Beyond Skagway and more specifically Maryssa for your next visit to Skagway.

We had a great time on our tour with Beyond Skagway. Our tour guide Trevor was very informative of the area and knew all the places to stop going up into BC. Highly recommend the suspension bridge, the musher camp, and all the beautiful scenery along the way.

We did the Seek the Summit tour and it was absolutely fantastic. Our main goal was to bring our kids somewhere they could play in snow, and our tour guide Becky made it happen! She forwent their typical plan in order to give our kids the time of their lives. And did they EVER! Thanks to Becky and Beyond Skagway Tours for being so accommodating. We also still made it to the Alaska sign, a gorgeous waterfall, and to the scavenger hunt abecky set up for the kids. Skagway ended up being the hit of the entire 10 day trip. I would absolutely repeat the experience any time we go back there. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wow! What a wonderful experience we had. Anna shared so many things with us about the history of the area, she stopped in places that she knew we'd appreciate the beauty of the location, and she simply made our tour the best we could have asked for. She communicated well with us, especially with a delay in our time getting off the ship, and was there waiting for us as she promised. Vehicle was very comfortable, and we had a great lunch in Car Cross. Definitely recommend Beyond Skagway Tours. Hope to come back to Alaska and you can be sure I'll check our your other tours. Thanks, Craig C RI
