This is not your ordinary hand made item store, it is art excelled to a higher level. There are shoes made from textiles woven by locals. They are beyond magnificent! The pillows, bags, rugs and more are just as impressive and unique.

Stopped in on the recommendation of a friend. Found lovely hand loomed pillow cases with indigenous animals on them in great colors! Plus they were buy 2 get 1 free. Other items were much more pricey, but if you have the budget, you could get...More

The shoes and boots are very eye-catching with colourful patterns supplied by the local indigenous people and then manufactured in Italy. Each shoe was unique and of top quality. I could not buy a shoe in the design I most liked as I was told...More

Stopped in because of the word "loom" (a traveling companion loves all things woven). Then we saw the boots and shoes and fell in love. It's worth a look.

I'm at the age where I don't need more stuff. I follow the advice of William Morris that says have nothing that is neither useful or beautiful. The Loom knocks it out of the park in the useful and beautiful department! Yeah, it's pricey, but...More

Beautiful shoes and boots made in Italy. The real prize are the bedspreads made there in Skagway. We knew we had to have even though they are pretty expensive. They are gorgeous. They will knock off $50 if you take it with you instead of...More

My husband wanted to buy me something really unique and unforgettable from our trip to Alaska, and The Loom had it! They had so many magnificent pieces, but ultimately we bought a gorgeous backpack that I know I'll treasure for a long time. We had...More
