My wife and I did the canyoning tour with our kids (aged 8 and 9). After a trip packed with activities, this tour was everyone in the groups favorite of the bunch. And it wasn't close. This is a bucket list type of experience. Its easy to say that the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, patient, etc. Its easy to say that this location is beautiful. All that said, this experience couldn't have been better designed if they tried. For starters, the rappels increase in size which really helped with the mental barrier/my fear of heights. The waterfalls themselves are all different, so each rappel is different. At the beginning, we did side by side runs which was great for the kids. There are "surprises" and other fun as you trek along the river. You WILL get fully soaked wet, so dress accordingly. We wore closed toed hiking sandals, and recommend them, but others wore running shoes. If you're reading this, then you've some interest. Don't over think it and just do it!
