We spent full day in this zoo. arrived early at the morning and left few minutes prior closure. I had a pleasure to visit multiple zoos all across the globe but this was pleasant surprise. Definitely worth to visit Zoo Lesna, comparing to other zoos, there are not so many animals but all of them have big range and area where they live, visitors will enjoy beautiful areas with lots of shadow, natural water, kids areas, buffets etc. We will come back!

It's very nice ZOO. I think that is really sufficient large area with a many animals. Zoo is divided into several parts by continents, with relevant animals, vegetations and other interestings things. Its wonderful place for the visit and enjoy the nature.

The ZOO is relatively small, but can provide for half-day entertainment. The setting of animals in the natural scenes is extremely well done, and the animals look great. Parking can be an issue (don't be afraid to drive beyond the first two lots with assistants squeezing lots at any price), and the restaurants nearby had both tasteless meals and terrible service - only later we discovered a great village restaurant in Stipa at the church (road from Kostelec to Stipa), we had a dinner there later and the difference was unbeliavable.

We love to visit ZOO in almost every town where is availiable for us and Zlin is really one of the nicest to see (at least in Czech republic).
Quite large and full of amazing animals with atmosphere. I can honestly recommend as an activity while in Zlin area for anyone from families, couples to individual visit.

This was our second visit to the Lesna Zoo, and we like it a lot. The woodland setting feels very natural and relaxing, although clearly great care has gone into the landscaping and deployment of statues and artworks. The animals are grouped together by their country of origin, so there's an African zone, an Australian zone and so on, all with appropriate planting, hard landscaping and works of art. At times we felt the need for better signage so we didn't miss a bit, but that's a minor quibble.
In general, the animals seem to have plenty of space and to be well looked after. Not sure where the tiger was when we visited - on his holidays we hoped rather than on the loose in the zoo.

The Czech Republic has some of Europe's best zoos, and this si amongst the best of those. A superb collection of animals is displayed with real panache: the South American pavilion is an absolute highlight, as is the extensive bird collection that is peppered through the zoo.

An hours drive from Olomouc you can find the greater area's nicest Zoo (in my opinion).
Cheap, not touristic well kept and very animal friendly Zoo park. Stretched over a large hill side you better prepare for a serious walk. Unfortunately we had not the best weather and therefor we did mis some warm accommodation halfway.

I have visited this Zoo after many years and was amazed at this transformation.Divided into continents section, each with their nature animals and transactions. If ever in vicinity well worth the visit.

I really liked the idea, that whole ZOO is divided into parts by continents. In addition to animals you also get some botanical (e.g. Japan garden) and ethnical experience (e.g. pottery made by tribes in Etiopia. Personally I enjoyed Prague zoo more, but there are some nice pavilions like Yucatan or Stingray feeding.

This ZOO has become a jewel of our Zlin`s region. The concept of the exhibition is great as the YOO is divided and organized according the continents and does not show only animals but also flora and typical traditional architecture. You can spend a very nice day with your family during which your children can enjoy an adventure park, riding ponies or traveling by a train around the ZOO.

My sme tam boli cez 3 hodiny plus neskorší obed v reštaurácii pred zoo. Kľudne sa tam dá motať aj celý deň
