Saw this glacier from a boat trip. Very nice. Loved the trip and we had great weather. Saw Puffins in the wild and other sea birds, whales, dolphins, sea otters, sea lions, seals.

This was a 6hrs tour with lunch on board, booked thru trip advisor, via Viator.com. The trip was spectacular! More so because this was the first ever time that we saw a glacier. They did a good job with the narration, stopped every time we saw a sea life, more than enough time to view, soak in and take pictures.... More

Seeing this glacier up close is an incredible experience. The glacier will often calve into the sea and the rush of water coming from underneath the ice gives you a sense of how awesome a glacier truly is.

Getting to this glacier is a true adventure. We took the Kenai Fjords Tour and successfully navigated through small ice bergs to reach the glacier. It was astonishing to listen to and view the giant slabs of ice as they calve into the water.

We have seen quite a few glacier on this holiday but this was had the most calving, which I think is just luck of the draw. Anyway it was great to see. Well worth taking a cruise out to see the glacier

We were so excited to see the Holgate glacier and although it was amazing to see a glacier up close, it was also sad to see that it is slowly shrinking because of climate change. We were a group of 4 and all of us felt a little bit underwhelmed with the experience.

Nice viewing of a glacier that is calving. Incredible blue color and a fair amount of calving action.

Our boat stopped and the captain shut down the engines so we could hear the sounds a glacier makes. What an awesome sight and experience.

Able to see Holgate Glacier via day cruise. Very impressive to see the glacier calving. Pretty shocking to see the amount of regression that has occurred over the past 100 years. Definitely worth a visit to see this magnificent natural beauty.

We took the 8 hour long Kenai Fjords Tou and saw the glacier at latter part of the tour. It was great experience. We saw tots of ice floating on the water. Park of the glacier. was breaking off into the water with a mighty sound. Although boat was almost a mile away, you would feel that you could touch... More
