Had an awesome time. No one expects to get on a boat September 17th in AK and have the entire boat limit on halibut. Not to mention Rock Fish and Cod. Captain Steve was great and Shaun kicked ace as well. Thanks gents! See ya next time we make it from South and North Carolina.

Had a great day fishing on the Renegade with Captain Bob and deck hand Zack. Fishing was good caught halibut and rock fish they made sure everyone on the boat was always baited up and ready to fish. Very attentive crew. Everyone one caught fish. I would highly recommend this boat and crew.

The deck hands Chris and Austin were beyond wonderful. The boat had 15 people which included our party of 8. We all got our limit of Halibut and rock fish. One silver was caught but no luck on that species. The boat was extremely clean including the head. Sea was expected to have high waves so we went west instead... More

My son (16 YOA) thought it would be fun to try fishing for Halibut. SaltWater Safari was the first company I found that had openings on the day we could go out. I booked a daylong trip (half day wasn't worth it). There were several positives and some negatives to our trip. The location we went to was a 2... More

Nothing like an early fishing trip and having your room just steps from the dock. I would highly recommend their small 6 room) lodge right on the dock, all with spectacular views! Capt Steve and crew were great, professional and all so eager to help and share their love for the sport of fishing. We took home one lone halibut, but... More

Nothing is better than seeing your child having the time of their life. First time for my son (11) to do any type of deep sea fishing and it couldn't have been any more rewarding. Capt. Bob along with Capt. Shaun and the other deck hands did an outstanding job with our entire group. The atmosphere on the boat was... More

It seems like people enjoy this Saltwater Safari Company charters in Juneau AK but unfortunately we did not have the same experience. Our confirmation letter stated that check in was at 6AM and we also visited the office two days before the charter to verify check in place, time (which was 6AM) and boat. When we arrived to check in... More

July 2015 I fished 3 trips with Captain Steve, Captain Bobby and Captain Bob. All of the crews were very professional and the mates and Captains were very helpful on deck and ensured that all of the passengers were taken very good care of. We limited out on salmon and halibut each trip, with the largest halibut that I caught... More

So, since catching fish depends mostly on the fish, not the crew, I can't review based on our catch. What I CAN review on was the service we had on board. We were on the Legacy with Capt Steve. Our two deck hands were Max and Chris. The entire crew was friendly, humorous, and hustled to fix you up with... More

Loved the crew, owners, and the fishing experience. Rough weather, but they made up for it with their hospitality, knowledge, and professionalism. Will go back and will only use them for Seward fishing charters!
