It's basically the heart of Seward with little tourist shops up and down the harbor. There are some pretty big tour boats here and we got to see a few seals playing along the docks. Nice picturesque area that screams you're in Alaska.

A lovely way to start or end the day is taking a stroll on the many docks of the Seward Boat Harbor. My husband and I often laugh at the names given to the various boats, look over the edge to see the jelly fish...More

I really enjoyed walked around this boat harbor and all of the different colors of boats. The air is so clean there.

A lovely busy harbor in a terrific little town in Alaska. The marina is really busy with a lot of boats, fishermen, cruises and tourists. It is fun to see the fishermen (and women!) bring in their catch and cleaning their fish at the end...More

The boat harbor is a nice place for a walk. Besides seeing the boats, you will see the fish coming to land, being exposed for photos, and being prepared for packing. There you will find a few shops and several restaurants.

Didn't have a boat here, but took two tours from the docks and walked along the docks to take pictures. Great boat watching and sea otter viewing, and nice that the docks are so accessible (where we live, the entrances are all locked).

My grandson had never been to a harbor, so he was excited to all the various kinds of boats and catches.

I have been back 4 times now & each time a little more special. I have tent camped, Rv'd & stayed @ 2 hotels. This place is so quaint! No matter what the weather, beautiful blue skies or dreary rainy it still amazes me each...More

In addition to seeing the haul of the day, just walking around the docks you can see sea otters playing around and interesting jellyfish all around!

Great little harbour to walk around. Plenty of shops to buy souvenirs from or stop to have a meal. See Silver Salmon swimming around and we even saw a Otter playing around. Book tours here or a fishing outing.

You should see plenty of activity all day since it is a busy harbor. Lunch to afternoon would be when I would plan to observe boating activity. Marine life is mostly out in the bay (Resurrection Bay). Suggest taking a... More

Sorry not sure but I think one operator said that it was free to Mainland USA. Cost of fishing charter is very high compared to Australian priced. Cost was approx USD $400 for about 8 hours.
