Seaward's Waterfront Park is a great place for a scenic walk along the bay. Easy walking and the views are beautiful, take your camera as plenty of wildlife in the bay. There is also a great RV park on the waterfront.

Beautiful setting overlooking Resurrection bay, with a path along the water which brings you right into town, an RV park along the water and spectacular views of snow capped mountains.

This park was two blocks from our motel, and I went there each evening for a long walk. It is right on the bay, with beautiful views of mountains and playful otters, and other wildlife. There is a long boardwalk for biking or walking, innovative play grounds for the kids, an enclosed shelter house, grassy areas, and easy access to... More

Seward's Waterfront Park is awesome! Of course it helps to be travelling in an RV, or some sort of camper. Basically it is a series of gravel parking lots with camping spaces instead of parking stalls - some with power & water and picnic tables. On the surface this sounds bad. But with frolicking whales, sea otters, steller sea lions... More

Of course there is the coal conveyor and the ship docks but if you ignore those, this is a prime place to view Mt. Alice and part of Resurrection Bay. Great place to sit and think.

I camped here for 2 nights. The view from our tent was incredible. We were right on the ocean and surrounded by mountains! It was also very close to the historic downtown, which was both convenient and a little strange. The nights we were there were very windy and we feared our tent would break or fly away. It didn't,... The couple of days we were in Seward it was all raining and gloomy. The day we we were leaving Seward, it was veey pretty and sunny and gorgeous. We chanced upon this park and took in the amazing views while my son had a great time at the park. They even had a mini toy dog sled:)

Check it out, walk or ride the bike path, play in the playground, skate in the skate park, camp either tent or those pesky RV's, have a beach fire. But mostly enjoy the scenery, no place like it.
