It was a rainy morning when we visited the waterfront park but we still enjoyed it. It is a scenic walk with the mountains in the background and Resurrection Bay in front. We enjoyed reading the displays on the history of the area and found them to be very informative.

We camped at the park in our rv for two nights. The spaces by the water fill up quickly, but we were able to get one on our second night there. While on the walkway one evening we were able to watch several otters playing and feeding in the bay. We also saw a spectacular rainbow that encircled the bay... More

We walked this pathway every evening/night that we were in Seward. The views are amazing, and you get to walk by all the campers and vans unpacking for the night.

There were not that many RVs when we were there so we really enjoyed the waterfront the the walk. We parked our car next to the SeaLife Center and "explore" from there. We really enjoyed the "Trail Blazers" statue of a prospector and his dog. The information panel was a surprise! This is where the Iditarod race started! Who knew...

We walked through this park on our way to SeaLife Center. Certainly it is little more than an RV park with the exception of a playground at the South end. Walking through the park gives one the appreciation of the attractiveness of renting an RV for an Alaskan vacation. I've been in many, many RV parks in the Lower 48... More

My wife and I stayed in Seward for 1 night during our escorted tour of Alaska with Titan Travel. Seward is located on the shores of Resurrection Bay which has a beautiful shoreline, sections of which are designated public parks which also provide RV and camping facilities. I passed through the Waterfront Park on my late evening walk along the... More

This park is right on the waterfront and the view is breathtaking. You can see the glacier as well. You can walk along and take in coffee on the west or just read the plaques of sights and history. This is also where a mile 0 is. Easy walking for anyone. We were there on July 3 red and the... More

I was in town to watch the 4th of July race up Mt Marathon and this park provided a quick and easy way to get a peek at the bay.

We had high expectations of coming to a city park, located right on the water's edge with stunning views of Resurrection Bay and the surrounding mountains. We certainly were not disappointed with the views but as for the park, the bulk of it is really an RV park. We eventually found an area that was RV free, next to the... More

This park stretches about a mile along the shore of Resurrection Bay from Seward Harbor south to the Alaska Sealife Center. There is a walking path and benches to rest, admire the view, and watch for birds and wildlife. Best to visit when the weather is temperate and clear. Public restrooms and playground are available. Camping and fishing are allowed... More
