This park is right on the waterfront and the view is breathtaking. You can see the glacier as well. You can walk along and take in coffee on the west or just read the plaques of sights and history. This is also where a mile 0 is. Easy walking for anyone. We were there on July 3 red and the... More

I was in town to watch the 4th of July race up Mt Marathon and this park provided a quick and easy way to get a peek at the bay.

We had high expectations of coming to a city park, located right on the water's edge with stunning views of Resurrection Bay and the surrounding mountains. We certainly were not disappointed with the views but as for the park, the bulk of it is really an RV park. We eventually found an area that was RV free, next to the... More

This park stretches about a mile along the shore of Resurrection Bay from Seward Harbor south to the Alaska Sealife Center. There is a walking path and benches to rest, admire the view, and watch for birds and wildlife. Best to visit when the weather is temperate and clear. Public restrooms and playground are available. Camping and fishing are allowed... More

This is a nice walk on a good weather day, I could imagine that it could get quite cold on a windy day. Well worth the walk if you have a spare hour.

One big reason to think about finding an RV spot at the Seward Waterfront Park is for the amazing views of the mountains. There are hook ups, dry spots and tent sites available on first-come-serve basis. The tent sites are not on the water but still afford good views.

This is a tidy and well kept park right on Resurrection Bay. It's close to restaurants and shops. A nice place to have a leisurely stroll.

The weather was fine sunny and warm and enjoyed a stroll along the foreshore and caught up with conversation with other travellers at various spots.

This campground is right in town and on the shore. We were on motorcycles so we camped in the area with trees and grass. They have a pay by machine set up so it was easy to pick a site and pay for it. It felt safe and was easy to walk from camp to various places in town for... More

Easy easy walk to all local sites. Right on the water. If Seward planned their city like this they should be congratulated. We stayed 3 nights. A highlight.
