Fantastic two hour ride through the countryside. Barney's was easy to find and very friendly and helpful when we arrived. We loved seeing the local area not usually accessible other than on horseback. The horses were great, all with unique personalities. We would definitely recommend this to anyone of any ability.

The two hour trail ride was fenomenal: the horses are very well trained, the trail goes through a forest, through water and all the way to Resurrection Bay. The views of the river, sea and mountains are spectacular. We are not experienced with horse riding, but can recommend anyone this unique way to explore the Seward area. Don't be shy,... More

This was a great trail ride. My ten year old son does trail rides at every opportunity and has done several over the past couple of years and said this was his favorite so far.

Willing horses and beautiful views. We enjoyed the ride - saw eagles and salmon. Guides were knowledgeable and friendly.

Anyone reading this review - you've got to do this!!!! We had the best time, really enjoyed this trail ride which took us through many streams, forest, wetlands and the beach. We have several beautiful pictures to show our family and friends. Our guides were amazing with tons of information about the area and our horses personalities. I was on... More

I did a two-hour trail ride with my mom and six year old son. We all had a great time. Starting out in a gravel pit had me a little leery, but you get out quickly and the scenery is beautiful. Hallie was our guide and Billy helped. Both were great and shared interesting tidbits about the area. Would highly... More

We had a blast with Bardy's Trail Ride. The guides were very knowledgeable, and the view is fantastic! We saw a lot of bald eagles up close.

Great ride on the opposite side of Ressurection Bay. We saw eagles but no salmon in the creeks, not their fault, just means I need to do the ride again in a few weeks. Horses were calm and easy to ride.

Even in the rain it was fun. But be prepared, 2 hours is a long time on a horse if you are a novice.

My wife and I took our 8 year old out for a trail ride during our annual trip to Alaska. While it wasn't our first trip with Bardy's, it was our son's. The tour guides Jess and Holly could not have been more accommodating to us.
