We choose the longer Kenai fjords tour through the national park tours that goes to Fox Island for dinner. The tour started at ten and ended about six. It was our number one favorite thing on the the seven day land tour and eight day cruise. And that is saying a lot because we had a fabulous trip. On this... More

I loved everything about this tour. We chose the kayak & Cruise combo with the Resurrection Bay tour and it was one of my favorite experiences of our whole Alaska trip. We first took the cruise ship over for a short ride to Fox Island. They provided a warm cinnamon roll for breakfast with juice and a fruit cup on... More

We went on the cruise on a rainy day and had a little bumpy ride. So if you tend to get sea sick, you may want to take medicine before the trip. Despite the weather, we had a lot of fun seeing different animals. The trip is kind of long but the captain and the crew were great at pointing... More

This fairly long tour was probably the best tour we took during our July visit to Alaska. The great variety of sea life--sea lions, puffins, whales--and the geological features made it the most complete sea borne experience. Plus, we were able to get within a few hundred yards of a glacier. The guides were excellent. We stopped for a buffet... More

We were a little hesitant because of the price and we knew that August was supposed to be wettest month in Alaska. It did end up raining and it was definitely chilly on the deck. We opted for the National Park Tour. Despite the bad weather Capt Brian was outstanding in making the best out of a bad weather day.... More

DO NOT GO IF YOU GET SEASICK!! The cruise is wonderful and you really get to see tons of wildlife ranging from sea lions to whales and bald eagles. The captain is informative and interesting. Once you get to the glacier its spectacular. They stay by the glacier for enough time to enjoy its splendor and soak it in. However... More

We went on the Fjords National Park and loved it. Seeing glaciers up close and being able to see puffins and sea lions was great. We played tag with a couple of humpback whales. The only down side was that the trip back was long. As stated in the other reviews, please prepare for cold weather. The wind whistles down... More

Many people were sick on this ride so think about it before you book. They hand out ginger and sick bags to all. We didn't get sick but people sure did. Rough waters out at sea. 6 hours might be too long unless you are a good sailor. Saw some humpbacks from a distance and lots of puffins. Best part... More

Our group of 5 couples took the 6 hour cruise / tour with Kenai Fjords Tours. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Although many would suggest 6 hours was too long, much of the time was spent when Captain Steve was jockeying the boat so everyone would have a good view of the current attraction. In addition... Excellent tour but again dress warm as when your outside the boat it's chilly and don't forget the wind chill. Nicely narrated tour as your watching for wildlife along the way. Saw some humpback whale tails, they were not cooperating with us. But you get a good look at the glaciers. Also little ice bergs that have fallen off. The... More
