Captain Stan was a great guide and captain! He got us so close to the wildlife and was a wealth of information. My wife and I spent a wonderful day seeing otters, puffins, whales (or one whale), seals, starfish, bald eagles, and more! And a glacier!

If you are dithering between a large boat tour and Alaska Saltwater boats, spend the extra $ and choose this! We were so glad we did. There were four of us on the tour, along with Marcus and Jim. We had a picture perfect day and it was glorious aboard the Steller Sunrise. Saw bald eagles, sea otters, steller sea lions, mountain goats, humpback whales, puffins, murres, and harbor seals. Holgate Glacier was beautiful, as was the scenery for the entire day. Coffee and muffins in the am, and sandwiches/chips for lunch, rounded out the day. You won't be disappointed.

Took an all day sightseeing tour. So glad we spent the extra money to get on this trip over the larger tours. Lots of personal attention, room on the boat, snacks & food, a snooze on the bow, for the return trip made this so worth the decision to take the tour with this outfit. We saw so many things, and the captain and first mate made for a wonderful, fun, and educational trip for our family.

This tour was a wonderful way to experience the fjords of Kenai Fjords National Park. As advertised, we were a small group of 9 people and lunch and snacks were provided. I did see the Glacier Express out on the water and it looked jam packed. However, this is a single hull boat so I would recommend taking sea sickness medication if you are prone to feeling ill. There are both covered and uncovered areas, including space to sit at the front of the boat. The boat traveled out of Resurrection Bay to Holgate Glacier, which is where we stopped for lunch. There were breathtaking sights and scenery throughout the whole trip. Both staff on board were kind and responsive to questions and made efforts to point out sights and wildlife. We saw harbour seals, stellar sea lions and orca whales, and the captain stayed near the orcas for 15-20 minutes to allow us to experience them. We arrived in Seward slightly earlier than expected, around 4pm however this did not bother me. Ensure you re-confirm the meeting time at the bakery as my confirmation email had an 8am meeting time, however the actual meeting time was 7.45am.
