We went on the wildlife cruise. The ranger seemed ecstatic to see one humpback whale, four orcas, a sea otter, a couple Dall sheep, and some birds in 5 hours. She even said the orcas don't usually come into the bay like this. What? Maybe our expectations were too high but we expected more on a wildlife cruise but staff... More

This is a shorter boat tour about 3 hours. Did not see much wildlife on this tour. We did spot a whale that we were tracking. Saw some seals and a lot of birds. Also spotted a bald eagle, however it was pretty far away. Take your binoculars! Beautiful scenery along the waterway!

Although it rained the entire trip the scenery was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Considerate to everyone of all ages. Handicap Friendly. They even had activities for the young children to keep them involved. I would recommend this company for tours and definitely go back again.

Our schedule only allowed us to take either a shorter wildlife tour of Resurrection Bay or the 8am Kenai Fjord National Park tour. Initially, we were very disappointed to find out that the only national park cruise that fit our schedule was sold out. Instead of the national park cruise, we opted instead for a wildlife cruise of Resurrection Bay... More

We had a great time on our six-hour tour of Resurrection Bay and the adjacent areas. We saw several humpback whales, and man, where they active. We could hear the barks from the sea lions while they were sunning themselves on the rocks. The otters just relaxed on their backs while we passed within several feet of them. The whole... More

We took the Alaska railroad to Seward and didn't realize we were going to be in Seward for 6 hrs so we booked this wild life tour. We booked the tour 30 minutes before we got to Seward. We were surprised they could accommodate us on such short notice. The weather was perfect. Which for Alaska I mean no rain.... More

My husband and I took the 5-hour wildlife viewing cruise of Resurrection Bay on the Star of the Northwest. We reserved tickets by phone several months in advance and they were expecting us - no problems at check-in. The boat has 3 levels. The first deck is enclosed and heated and has tables that are very close together and bolted... More

Starting with the friendly staff at check-in through departure, we had a great time. The food looked great, but we did bring our own sandwiches. The beverages on board were tasty (try the Hot Otter!). I liked that we had reserved tables when we wanted to be inside, but it was warm enough to be outside. They did a great... More

We did the 5 hour wildlife tour. We saw lots of wildlife, the crew was plesant, and even though you are assigned a table as a "base station", you can walk around and get outside to view and photograph. Great tour of Resurection bay, and naration by a park ranger about the animals and history of the area. We did... More

Cruise was decent. You will most certainly see wildlife and the scenery is beautiful. That being said, I was displeased with how I was treated when I explained about dietary restrictions (eye-rolling and assurances of understanding when they clearly did not) as well as how we were treated when one of our party members experienced motion sickness. I ended up... More
