\We visited soon on a day trip from Dubrovnik and it was well worth it to se the salt flats as well as the wall which surrounds this pretty little place in beautiful Croatia

We walked round the island, but did not fancy the very steep climb to the walls, watching others doing it in the hot sun exhausted me. once you have walked around, you realise there is not much there other than a church and restaurants, you could go to the salt museum if you really want to, but I think sitting in s bar is a much better idea.…

We were here on a morning in early October. The visitor's centre had a somewhat informative video describing the works of the sea salt extraction and harvesting. We were the only couple here and we wandered around for maybe three quarters of an hour. From the looks of the video there is a lot more going on in the summer and it looks to be a fun stop when it is in operation.…

Unique and beautiful place where is produced salt the many centuries. It was very important place and therefore was protected by city's walls.
