We toured to swim with the spinner dolphins then snorkel at the marine reserve. Spinners were not being friendly, but due to their knowledge swam with Pygmy killer whales and bottle nose Dolphins. Saw a lot of spinners though. The marine preserve was great.

We booked 2 tours with Sunlight on Water...the Dolphin Swim and Manta ray snorkel. On our Dolphin Swim, we had Captain Josh, Dre and Denise. Our 11 year old daughter and 9 year old son were particularly nervous about snorkeling, as it was their first time. Denise spent so much time with them, and by the end of the trip... More

If you are looking for wonderful memories, magical experiences and an experience unique to the Big Islands, this is the attraction for you. Our group of two teen boys and three adults took a night snorkel with Sunlight on the Water, whose boat is referred to as the Blue Mafia by competing businesses - a reference to the bluish white... The one thing we were looking forward to doing on our visit was a dolphin swim, and this was amazing! From the Hawaiian morning prayer from China Mike, to the hot fresh water rinse at the end, this adventure was worth every penny. They make it a point to find dolphins and get everyone out to swim with them; saw... More

My husband, son and I went w/Sunlight On Water for a night Manta snorkel. I was apprehensive about getting into the ocean at dusk and skeptical about the Manta experience we would have. Both feelings were quickly negated! The crew was capable, experienced, safety-conscious and fun- especially SCUBA Steve!! The rafts had lots of lights and after 20 minutes of... More

The experience was great. The crew was very helpful and organized while keeping things fun. Seeing the mantas was so cool and they just kept coming. I highly recommend the outing and the crew.

Well organised crew, very friendly and knowledgable. Good safety briefing. Enjoyable boat trip. Sunlight on Water appeared to be one of the larger vessels at the manta ray viewing location. As for the manta ray snorkel - just awesome! Also saw a large seal - an added bonus. In case you are wondering, no you don't go out into the... More

On our trip to the big island each of us chose a must do - zip lining, a visit to Kilauea, a luau, and a visit to the black sand beach. Snorkeling with the manta rays was chosen by all of us and it did not disappoint. The guides were knowledgeable and funny, the mantas were out in force and... More
