This was the first snorkel trip of our vacation. We booked it after arriving through the Expedia concierge at our condo. I had read reviews that the afternoon was a little shorter in length and had snacks/drinks vs breakfast and lunch. Since my boys age 12 and 14 had never snorkeled I thought this would be a perfect intro. Also... More

The boat has two decks, the crew is extremely nice and proactive in getting you ready to see the fish. Captain Cook is a great place to see the reef fish. The boat has two huge slides and a two story high diving platform. It's plenty deep. All you need is your bathing suits and waterproof camera. The morning cruise... More

Went on the snorkeling cruise with some friends from the mainland. They enjoyed it immensely and I did too! Stopped at a really nice area with lots to look at. Would highly recommend this company!

Great experience! The captain & crew will fit you for snorkeling gear, make you lunch and even provide a little history on the area. We did the morning cruise and loved it. Lots of yellow tang underwater to view. Very relaxing and highly recommended.

We did the Afternoon Snorkel Cruise on our recent trip to Kailua-Kona and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii. The cruise was great value for money. You get a good amount of time in the water and we saw loads of fish and dolphins. There was so many different types of fish in the water... More

Took the 1/2 day snorkeling trip with my family of 10 that included 6 adults and 4 kids (7 Years - New Born). We had a wonderful time. Check in was easy and about 1/2 hour before departure the passengers were loaded, snorkels, masks and fins were fitted and distributed quickly and efficiently. Upon leaving the harbor the Captain (Elvis)... More

Captain Cook's monument is an exceptional spot for novice and experienced snorkelers. HIking into Captain Cook's monument while dragging snorkelling gear seemed too daunting so we chose to board the wonderful Fair Winds tour boat and arrive in style! The snorkelling equipment was provided before going on the boat so that we could be ready when the boat stopped. The crew... More

We did the mantra ray trip with Fair Winds. Very slick professional operation but the crew are very personable and you don't feel like just another number to them. The offical number of mantras was 5. Would recommend this company because the ride out was only about 5-10 minutes. Corey was a great captain and Diver Dan a great help... More

Found this morning snorkel event through Shaka Gold Card site and guidebook recommendation. Cruise staff was excellent, snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay was an unforgettable experience, along with breakfast and lunch. Slides and high dive were a hit for kids and adults. They catered to lots of different levels of snorkelers (first time to seasoned). Great value for the money!

We did the afternoon cruise, saw a lot of great stuff near Capt Cook monument. Larger boat and number of passengers, and about 5-6 helpful crew members. Good options for small kids-life jackets, sit-in round floats, noodles, and boogie board with window to view under water. Slide and diving board were fun too. Offered snuba for extra fee.
