The luau was definitely a highlight of the trip. I would recommend getting there early to get better seating. We read ahead and got great seats. The food was absolutely delicious. The entertainment was fun. The musicians were great, the hostess was lovely, and the dancers did not disappoint. (the mai tais were delicious too!)

We have enjoyed the RK Luau twice now and enoy the food and the show. With the number of performers (and food service) luaus are big productions but we felt the RK was a good value. The most recent show had more interactions for kids before the show and I think they should really play that piece up to last... More

All the good tables are marked reserved. To see the show people in the tables in front of you need to stay seated. The staff should encourage people to consider others and ask them to stay seated, but they don't. One man set up a tripod in the middle of the table with a camera on it which destroyed the... More

The food and entertainment were OK. Seating was very crowded and getting in was annoying. We have been to other luaus that have been much better. I am not cheap by any means, but I did not like the fact that they wanted you to buy a lei upon your entrance to the event. Other luaus just give it to... More

First time attending a luau and it was worth the money. Food was plentiful and dining lines were well organized. Mostly rum based drinks and bar was only open until 7pm but pool bar is nearby. Performers were colorful and of very good quality. Ask the front desk to book for you and go to the cashier booth and pay... More

My boyfriend and I were really looking forward to this Luau as we had heard good things, however we were mostly disappointed.. We had pre-booked tickets and had to wait in line for 45+ minutes to get in but people who paid cash on the day got let in straight away (a separate mostly empty line) and then when we... More

The food was excellent. The Luau Pig was something to rave about. They had a lot of native Hawaiian dishes, that I went back to get seconds on. The dancing and music was really great. Luckily our room (417) is just above the stage, so we get to enjoy the music even on the nights we are not down in... More

The show itself was great, the food was delicious! I did have a few complaints though, mostly to do with the "open bar" and the process of getting into the luau. We paid $96/per person for a party of 7 people. We bought tix through our hotel concierge and I didn't even think to check out the website prior. The... More

This is our first luau in Hawaii and so there is no comparison with other available luaus. First, this was the best price that I could find and with good preparation, we were able to get a front row seats. First, the Imu pig ceremony was very interesting. The pork was done perfect. This pork goes extremely well with soy... More

I had been to a luau on Oahu years and years ago but my wife has never been. We decided on this one based on the reviews and location. We arrived earlier than requested and paid the $7 extra to get up close. We had our picture taken, my wife got a lei and we got our Mei Tai's with... More
